  4. If you are happy to scurry around after him ... As I was doing with my 2 yo today It's better than pr adventure playground for little ones - there are slides and swings and a high up wooden walkway that's not too terrifying
  5. In the sun! Hurray Park in sains and go up the ramp by the cash machines
  6. Ed is a lovely place to make friends with other mums It is pricey though... Still lots of free activities around, but the cost of living is high
  7. You probably wouldn't get a nursery place for THIS September now, though. Would he be boing into nursery or is he about to have his 4th birthday and be starting reception in sept? If the latter, you would be a late applicant but very close to dkh school so in with a fair chance of getting any vacancy that arises
  8. Go for it Ed is lovely. Schools are good. The estate is ok I think. There is a community centre called the albrighton with lots of activities and dkh adventure playground opposite

  13. When no 1 was at the age the twins are now, I was 8m pregnant with twins. When the twins were the age no 4 is now, I was already 5m pregnant with the littlest. Bit scary.
  14. It was just a sort of twisted logic. We don't have e space or money for the twins, so why not go ahead and have another. Sort of on the basis that the only reason NOT to want lots of gorgeous cuddly kids was the practical, sensible stuff like affordability. And also our standards have long since dropped sufficiently that wrangling 3 under 3 was just about manageable. That's why, for instance, I was always the mother doing e school drop in at least one child in pyjamas. And even worse, on occasion, the pick up too!
  15. We already had 3, a 5 year old and twins of about a year old, when we threw caution to the wind and agreed we would love another. The twins were 2.5 when our last one arrived. It has had its moments, but having a loud, noisy, messy, skint household really is a joy. In between occasional hysterical bouts of shrieking!
  16. I was under kings for my twins but arranged care from independent midwives. So they did my antenatal care at home, I saw the consultant at kings as needed - leonie Penna and they supported me through the birth at kings. I came home within a few hours and they did my postnatal care, deveral Hours a day bf support at first, continued coming for a month Made a huge difference to me

I had tried NHS > website but not found what I was looking for. A few too many medical dramas have made me an expert on pharmacy availability! A bit of a trek to streatham but westbury chemists are the longest open around here
