    Yes. Although in cases of d&v stopping milk is recommended, that doesn't apply to breast milk (though not all drs know that) I believe breast milk actually supports a healthy intestinal flora which reduces the chance of a temporary lactose intolerance that often goes with a tummy bug

    An abcess is an area of excruciating pain deep inside the breast, then a hot red lump, eventually starting to weep pus. Antibiotics struggle to helP as they don't get into the centre of the pus-sy area I hope that's not what you have Might need a change of antibiotic

    I went to a and e with mine (sent with a letter by seldoc) but I still had to wait hours Though they did give me iv antibiotics there Saila, gave you got to go to your appt by yourself with both children? :-(

    DMC? They are not perfect but I have always got a call back from a dr in those sort of circumstances Hope you are on the mend soon. I had a terrible dose of mastitis once that turned into a deep access and took 3 months to treat inc iv antibiotics and surgical draining, so it's nothing to be messed with.

    I was just pondering the situation now where schoOls who have even a 'too slow pace of improvement' let alone a dip in results (see Roke primary) get deemed failing by ofsted and the only solution On offer is sell Off to an academy chain. I don't think anyone can think these days that ofsted (or the exam boards even) are any more than a political tool
