  1. Well that was Fergie time at it's finest! (or worst depending on your outlook) Can't wait until Monday night now. There's a spare ticket if you fancy it Keef? ;-)
  2. Funny how when there's nothing else for the press to latch on to, the press always drag out something to do with the owners before a big game. Heard it all before. If he goes, he goes. Nothing we can do about it. Would be gutted if he does but can't see it happening.
  3. Bloody hell! If they did that to you, what did they do to the stag?

  6. I love that phrase. Very SATC. Maybe she's just shagging him?
  7. My point wasn't about making the wrong decision. It was about dissent and the "respect the ref" campaign, which appears to be a completed and utter load of bollocks in the eyes of some clubs.
  8. Mascherano was sent off after receiving two yellow cards at OT last season. The first was for a foul, which was not disimilar to Anderson's a few miutes beforehand (for which no action was taken). The second was for questioning the ref "what's happening?" after Torres asked for protection from the ref. He shouldn't have done it and therefore should have been sent off, no arguments from me there. However when you see Rooney effing amd blinding at a clearly petrified linesman, you do wonder where Man United sit in terms of their agreements with the FA. Still think Rafa was ranting?
  9. Sorry, have we met?
  10. Jeez, I'd best just drink beer and Jack Daniels then.
  11. What are your thoughts on the way that Rooney spoke to the linesman after "that" corner?

  13. Jamie Carragher "Should have listened to Rafa and gone zonal" >:D< How Rooney didn't get a booking there I will never know. Come on Chelsea.
  14. My Mum's side of the family are from Liverpool. Not sure about Keane. I think that something has gone on behind the scenes as I've no idea why Rafa isn't using him. Rafa baffles me sometimes, yet I was worried about his selection at Newcastle but he got it spot on. Who knows!? In Rafa we trust. I do believe he can bring the league title back to Anfield. We really missed Alonso in midfield today and it was evident when he went off injured last week how much he does in the middle. Nothing seemed to go our way today, but we really should have played better! No excuses. P.S MM, when I said you were patronising the other night it was tongue in cheek. I was told off for it last night, so sorry if was taken the wrong way.
  15. Found Preston last week a lot more intimidating. If you don't wear colours though you generally don't get any problems. Think half the fellas I go with are pleased to have me with them as I suppose having a girl with you generally means you're not going to be looking for any aggro.
  16. I'm still hungover. Stoke ain't half a peculiar place. The only people we saw were the bizzies when we arrived and then supporters outside the ground. Have had the specials "ghost town" song in my head all day. Can hardly being myself to talk about the game. What a shower of shite! Not good enough. :-(
  17. I have discovered that commencing boozing at 5, drinking copious amounts of JD, followed by Hoegaarden, followed by cider, followed by more JD then more cider ain't a great idea when you have spend 2 hours on a train the next day. :-S Nice to see everyone and meet the first timers. However, I now have "the fear".
  18. Snog your boss. :-S
  19. I love him. Have only read the transcript, but can't wait to watch it. He cracks me up and considering English is his second language he's very clever with what he says. Has a fair argument against Fergie. His comment earlier this season about the Brummie accent was hilarious. Would love to meet him.
  20. Rhinestone Cowboy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Ronald Car Crash Part 2 > > He was later heard complaining to the police that > the wall wasn't back far enough...... Ha ha - got that one this morning too. Recyled from the days of Mr Adams' crash I believe.
  21. Boo - I saw him first.
  22. He he - must be something around Celtic commentary. Ever seen this one. Release the Kraken
  23. That's how I'll probably turn up if I make it. Must try and get there early one night and be sober.
  24. Who do you support then Mick Mac?
  25. And you're not at all patronising. >:D
