  1. I have a question. Why is that Liverpool say Gerrard is unfit to play, yet the England camp insists that they check him over too. - However, Fergie says no to Rooney and Rio and no one bats an eye lid? Really wound me up this morning. The lad needs to rest and recouperate yet the FA insist that he travels to London. Joke! There's no way that he'd let the club stop him from playing for his country (although I wish he would). Get internationals out of the domestic season which would then shorten it by a month. Then if they insist on wrecking our players whilst on International duty, they will have the summer to recover.
  2. You should get them easily as it's a Monday night game. If you can't your hands on any, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
  3. How'd you get your tickets for this Sharon, they're not on general sale yet? PTS?
  4. You see, I went as far as believing you the first time around. Think I need to get out, haven't been outdoors since I got in on Friday night.
  5. I do know of a girl called Ann Field. Don't she was as in to football as her Dad.
  6. I would love it to be a coincidence, but sadly it isn't. Used to be the name for my fantasy football team, so I figured I use it as a user name.
  7. Funnily enough it's Anna and I'm 28. Far too close to 30 for my liking.
  8. Fair play - we'll have to put it down to a misinterpretation then. Sorry, if I caused offence with my "get over it" comment, but it was said tongue in cheek.
  9. Fancy seeing you here. Definitely a good result. T'was Pepe. *swoon*. Night.
  10. Well that told us. See you in the football thread if you wish to continue this convo. Back on topic. http://www.inthenews.co.uk/photo/pepe-reina-$7001287$180.jpg
  11. For West Ham or do you mean Marseilles? Am going to the Fulham match with Keef and looking forward to that one. Also sorted for Marseilles. Trying to do every home league game this season, but it's getting a bit silly, so am undecided about West Ham.
  12. Used to go to the Sandon but we boycott it now, because they've sold out to the corporates. Avoid the Park and the Albert as they're always rammed. Tend to head to Rouge, which is a new bar this season. It's a mate of a mate's and is always full of locals and very easy to get served in. Do you get up for the match much?

    Great Gigs

Ha ha yes, but for all the wrong reasons. Might have to give it a go sometime, but it will have to be for a very special band. Have only two gigs planned at the moment. The Rascals in December and Oasis again next year.
  14. Had a ticket, but have been to every home game this season (bar Crewe). Also have done all the London away games, so a weekend without travelling back to the North West was quite appealing. Was supposed to meet mates in North London, but ended up just watching it at home. Sorry, no idea how to resize. http://img300.imageshack.us/my.php?image=nandozo0.jpg

    Great Gigs

Would really love to see the KOL, but don't fancy the O2. Dislike big venues.
  16. No worries Sharon. I have a stock pile of them. Did you watch the match today?
  17. I don't feel the desire to use an emoticon every time I post to get my point across. People who I regularly chat with on here will know when I'm joking I found your insuinuations with regards to the types of women that had been posting in the other thread offensive, which is why I asked you to clarify. You then went on to call me "brute", which is why I responded in the way I did. Nothing to do with any other comments.
  18. Yeah, but the ladies thread has become infested. It has also been around almost twice the time of this one. ;-)
  19. Fernando Torres, you might recognise him with his clothes on. http://www.einfachspanien.de/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/fernando-torres.jpg
  20. Tony - I am beginning to find you quite offensive. Back on topic, these two are proper men - but I really do have quite erratic taste when it comes to fellas. http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd51/daedal2007/FernandoTorres3.jpghttp://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e339/alexvinson56/TomfreakinSellick.jpg
  21. Bolton # Liverpool # - can see this being a tricky one, as we usually struggle in November and Bolton have hit form. :-S Arsenal 2 Aston Villa 1 Blackburn 1 Sunderland 0 Fulham 1 Tottenham 1 Man Utd 2 Stoke City 0 - But not if Stoke park the team bus in front of the goal again. Newcastle 2 Wigan 2 West Ham 0 Portsmouth 1 West Brom 1 Chelsea 2 Everton 2 v Middlesbrough 1 Hull City 0 v Man City 1
  22. Clearly not man enough to be honest. Citizen - Was at London Bridge tonight and had to wait a while for confirmation of the platform. Made those bored 6 mins pass by a little easier.

  24. Our reserves and youth team were superb last season, but rumour has it all is not well at. Melwood. To be fair, it wasn't actually the youngsters that let us down last night - Dossena a first team regular, made no end of cock ups and the less said about Degen the better. Our passing was shocking in the first half. Have your moment in the sun, what a shame Chelsea were knocked out too to steal your thunder. ;-)
  25. Ngog was the least of our problems tonight. Degen was shocking and Babel couldn't have been any more frustrating if he'd tried. We were poor!! Stonewall pen I thought and VERY surprised it wasn't given. Could have turned the game around, but I don't think Cesar (?) had a shot to save. Fair play Spurs.
