  1. Just in case any of you needed reminding. ;-) So glad we managed to take stop Chelsea's unbeaten run. Great Gigs

Saw The Last Shadow Puppets tonight. Fantastic gig. :)-D
  3. I found your pen, but I don't think we should publicise what else I've found under here.

  5. What's wrong with Frying Pan Alley? I'm pretty sure that's somewhere near my office. Great name. (tu)
  6. Ahhh cheers HonaloochieB. I am home at last and have decided to stay off the beer - that was my downfall last night.
  7. "There's been a merder" Know what you mean, but some of the best banter I've had has been when I've been behind the bar. Ended up helping out a mate for the 2004 Rugby World Cuop final as he had no staff. These two fellas came in and blocked my view of the telly. I politely asked them if they could move along so I could watch the match too. Was told in no uncertain terms to "eff off". I reminded them that if I couldn't watch the match from behind the bar, they wouldn't get beer. They soon saw reason. :'( This has just made me realise how much I hate my job. Still here now having been in since 8.30 and with no lunch break. I think I'm going to go to the pub.

No, but perhaps I should look in to taking over a pub. Could you alone keep me in business? I don't have time for bar work on top of my normal job, however I used to do it all the time. You get a night out and you get paid. Could do with some spare cash so might look in to it again.
  9. What a load of bollocks!!!!!! Bar staff are as good at their job as they are boozers. I LOVE working behind a bar and in fact, if I could earn my salary pulling pints I would be a very happy girl. Yep, drink orders are down to the punter. However if I'm asked for a Guinness as the last drink of the round, I make sure that the customer is made to wait for me to pour the first two-thirds and then serve someone else before they are handed their pint. Trust me they soon learn. "Where's my Guinness??" - the best things come to those who wait ;-) It's like Bloody Marys. I've been told I make the best in the world. Fact is, I like them, therefore I know how they should be drunk. Not too tricky really.
  10. My feet are cold.
  11. Apparently dogs can't look up. I believe they can.
  12. I went to school with a girl called Emma Hignett. Doesn't look like her though. "Please stand clear - doors closing"
  13. Jah - I have a feeling that your luck might change when you play us. Just a feeling. By the letter of the law, Bale's red was technically a red so the ref did the right thing. Seemed harsh in the circumstances, but he was the last defender. (Wasn't he? Or had I totally pickled my brain over the weekend?)
  14. Quite happy with Keane and Kuty atm.
  15. I did that today too. (tu)
  16. Valencia got the red card and Zaki is the premiership's top scorer for this season to date. I hear that Man Citeh are trying to sweep him out from under Brucie's nose. Valencia is the fourth player to foul Xabi and be sent of this season. How he is still walking around I will never know. Shocking tackle and defintely a good call by the ref. I could have throttled Agger yesterday afternoon, but he soon made up for his mistake without that excellent run for Kuyt's first goal. He's been out for nearly 13 months now, so it will take him a bit of time to rebuild that understanding with Reina and Carra. Still really rate him as a player.
  17. Could there have been anymore drama. That was mental. Unlucky Spurs.
  18. Bah humbug. Hull have still to play, so the "top four" could be no more after that game. And less of the plastic insults thanks.
  19. Scallies?! Shame I was too drunk to remember the first half. Or maybe that is a good thing. I don't think my heart my can take another trip to Anfield.
  20. What is wrong with me? I misread the word beasts. This is what happens when you start boozing too early in the morning (on my way to Liverpool). Still, I'm a little ashamed of my Irwin crush.

  22. Me and my housemate sometimes play this game when we're watching telly. The question often asked is "would you?" He was one that we both agreed as a yes for reasons that I won't go in to on here. Simon Cowell is another one - imagine his critique aftewards. Annnnyway, moving swiflty on..............
  23. Steve Irwin :-$ (before he died) Can you imagine the enthusiam? "Crikey Sheila, look at the size of this one!!" >:D<

I asked for some more gravy to soften it up a bit and they charged us for it. Oh well....
  25. Did you do an evil "mwah ha ha ha" laugh as you typed that?
