  1. I meant from the roundabout. Not actually too sure how much walking I'm meant to be doing so it's probably best that I just see everyone there. Will be coming in from the City so not sure what time I'll be arriving either. Cheers for the offer though. (tu)
  2. Not if you've recently had knee surgery. :( Am happy to walk it slowly with company though.
  3. Can you get the bus there from the Goose Green vicinity? Which number? Thanking you :)
  4. I don't imagine it'll be much longer before he's gone ????. Particularly as the owners have issued a statement saying that they back him. :-S
  5. I was being diplomatic as I'd quite like to play netball with this lady someday. I actually think the fabric man sounds like a complete tosser.
  6. Well Kev Keegan has gone. Anyone make any cash in the sack race?
  7. So you spent a fair bit of cash, didn't just a cotton reel or some needles? Seems that the fabric man is always quite pleasant when he sniffs a fair wedge of filthy lucre. I'm sure he's a nice enough fella, but I know the girl who was walking said dog and she was quite upset by him.
  8. Oh boo - I really liked the Magdala for sport. What a terrible shame :( I know it was never a proper pub but it's all got too flouncy for my liking. I'm sure it's all lovely and really nice, but there are far too many pretentious bars in ED. (td)

And how would you prevent this happening? Or even better - how to clear it up?
  10. So if not Melbourne Grove - can anyone else recommend a differnt surgery in or around Dulwich? I've been trying all morning to get an appointment and have been on hold for 12 minutes now. I went in at second in the queue and was counted down to first. It then puts you through to a dial tone, where I assume you are supposed to wait for a receptionist to pick up then phone. The phone was ringing constanlty for 3 of those 12 minutes with no answer. It's easier to get tickets to Anfield (when 40,000 people are trying to get through) than getting a call answered at MGP. :(

Sadly you're right. Quite surprised that the Muppets that own Liverpool didn't cash in on Torres on Monday night. Wouldn't surprise me if this happened in Feb. :(:(:(
  12. Will try and pop in for this one.
  13. I think it might have been a Homer Simpson quote: "Welcome to Dumpsville. Population - YOU!" >:D< Was once tempted to write this on a fella's I was seeing facebook wall. But that would have been mean.
  14. and you love snails? As in escargot or the common garden variety?
  15. Text message usually does the trick, however do expect to be stalked for the next 6 months whilst the dumped tries to find out "why?". ;-)
  16. Cannot believe that Man City pipped Chelsea to the post for Robinho! It's now a case of who has the biggest cheque book. Am also slightly miffed that Spurs have agreed to drop their complaint about Fergie as they're ?30m better off, yet we end up paying ?2m to a charity. No doubt I'll start another pointless argument, but I couldn't give a monkeys. Such a hypocrite!!
  17. Hmm - that said, Spanish papers are reporting 3 weeks... :-S
  18. Okay Mr Blimp - however it is my understanding that forums are a place to express one's views and share experiences. If you read my post again, you will see that upon the advice of my physio I tried to arrange an appointment with my GP. I was simply following medical advice. I also didn't deem my ankle swelling to be an "A&E emergency", however it was something that I wanted to be looked at urgently. My experience of GP's is that if an urgent appointment is required, you go to the surgery and wait for them to see you, which is normally at the end of the day. Perhaps as it was a Friday they weren't offering this facility as they wanted to get home? My surgery was four weeks ago, I didn't feel it necessarry to go to A&E and waste their time particularly as my physio had told me to see my GP. What would you have done in that situation? I've had several negative experiences at Melbourne Grove now and shall be voting with my feet. Perhaps the forum was not the best place to vent my frustration, however as I'm sure you can imagine I was quite shocked on Friday when I actually found out was wrong.
  19. Where are you playing in Norwich? I used to work up there. I'm reasonably confident that G&T will both be fine for United, hence Rafa's timing with Gerrard's injury. Torres has had hamstring problems before - do you remember when he was injured last season? To be honest (in my non medical opinion) he didn't look too bad on Sunday and may have just been taken off as a precaution.
  20. I was in Egypt a few years a go with my Mum, a friend of mine and her Mum. None of us were on holiday to get laid (which I assume it was you mean), yet the fact that we were women on our own meant that we had plenty of unwanted attention. Cleary though as we were wearing summery clothes etc, we were "up for it". Is that what you mean?
  21. Having a scan today Keef. Reckon Rafa is being coy so he misses the internationals. You sure I can't tempt you with a Kop ticket for Man Utd? (Managed to get two last week. ;-))
  22. Cassius - I think you should define "up for it"

  25. Nice one Spurs. (tu)
