No electric this morning at the top end of Rye Lane by ASDA.

Had a scan through the list today, some pf peoples "favourite" eating and driking establishments have some VERY low scores. I strogly suggest having a look at the list before you sample the food on offer down LL and on North Cross Road. The scores may put you off eating in certain establishments. Personally I'd like to see all businesses who sell/and serve food and drink to have to display their current rating in the front window so people can instantly know what the score awarded was by the local authority and make a judgement based on this information.

Yes, give them a call and don't take no for an answer. I had this with my broadband with Virgin Media. Having phoned up and "discussed" it with them in detail, the original price was eventiually held for twelve months. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Good luck.

Why not print more so you can deliver to teh whole of SE22? Surely you gain sufficient revenue from advertisers to publish enough copies to cover all roads in the postcode.

James, as you said "I've sat on enough planning committees to have seen bad recommendations from officers and bad use of delegated powers by officers", Am I not right in saying that it is the Councillors who make you have the power to accept or reject planning applications and a whole lot more besidese based on the recommendations made by planning officers. They do the baackground work, councillors listen to the pros and cons and vote on what they "believe" is the best outcome. As councillors, remember we have given you the power to represent us by voting you and your peers into office.

There are three different sets of traffic lights on Forest Hill Road plus Southwark Council conducted a consultation earlier this year for further speed interventions through changing the layout of pavements (if memorary serves me right). So I believe this is already in hand. Yes, sad to hear of a third accident however any more speeed restrictions will make walking faster than motorised transportation.
