Try thinking about it in terms of supply and demand, A can supply and a demand exists from B. B is willing to pay A a price that A demands. It's a bit like going to the supermarket, they supply the goods we want and are willing to pay the price they set.

  14. Fancied a burger yesterday so while at the butchers (W.Bunting) on Peckham Park Road noticed they had some home made frozen 1/2lb burgers (beef with a bit of seasoning). Bought two, popped one in the freexer and had the other last night in toasted bread with sliced gerkin, tomatoe, onion and daddies ketchup. It was totally awesome. Will be going back for more next Saturday, so if you fancy some pop along.

  16. Sounds like you need a freewiew box, as the TV is old you will only be able to recieve a digital signal, but not HD (as it probably has scart sockets as a previous poster also mentioned). If it is connected to an external aerial you'll get all the freeview channels. If it is an internal aerial you'll need to move the aerial around the room until you get a signal. Suggest you invest in a Goodmans freeview box, I did last weekend and now can get digital signal on a 14inch tv. If you do not have any joy try contacing Bill Coe, he has a shop on Forest Hill Road and is a WIZARD at sorting things like this out, am more than happy to recommend him. 0208 693 5932.
  17. you could try white spirit (turps)on a very snall area perhaps in a corner to see if that removes it
  18. I saw a heron last week being chased by two other birds down Westwood Park.
  19. This is our opportunity to influence the future layout of Forest Hill Road (and hopefully replace the traffic lights at Colyton Road/FHR junction with the original and long over due zebra crossing). Please complete and return the consultation document so the views of residents are recorded and whatever the outcome is acted upon by the council.

  25. If you recall it was Ken in the previous administration who started raising bus fares from when they were 70p, so please don't just blame Boris as both have an equal burden of blame to take for the fare increases.
