Neighbours not using their food waste bin
Smiley_blue_1234 replied to Bob Buzzard's topic in The Lounge
The council does not really lead by example…. I saw a collection on Rye Lane where everything was put together! Ok, it’s food traders rubbish so not everything will be clean enough to be recycled blah blah blah but still…. Food scraps, wooden pallet, plastic crates and cardboard boxes were crushed together in the general bin lorry …😠 -
Hi, I’m looking for a small garden table and 2 chairs used but in good condition, ideally one you’d like to get rid of 😊 Chairs need to be sturdy so that she can sit on these safely! Thanks in advance for her!

Would highly recommend Elly Allen and team! Excellent friendly service and got some great advice. It was also helpful to have her team to install a new track and fit everything!

It depends on your son’s birthday I guess but…… Yama momo! Consistently delicious and excellent customer service. It’s a bit expensive but I go for their mon-thur offer (-20% off food and 2-4-1 cocktails). Enjoy! -
Bought a mattress with amazing reviews on the Mattressman website last year but it didn’t work for me. The exchange process was smooth and after selecting a few I went up to Stevenage 😬 for the day to try the mattresses in the shop. Best decision ever! Ended up buying a Sealy one with no reviews and I absolutely love it every single night (I have severe back issues). Mattresses are a personal thing so from my experience just make sure you try and see what your body says 😊

We used Anstey Horne following work done by our neighbours and they were very helpful. Maybe they could provide some guidance? Good luck. https://www.ansteyhorne.co.uk/about/team -

Ditto - he did a good job for me in the past. I managed to speak to him recently for a quote but despite many messages, he never called back… -
Good that PETA is on it but can we add our voices to the fight against this horrible practice? I’m still shocked! A petition maybe? Happy to raise to the RSPCA but don’t want to duplicate efforts. I’ve signed campaigns from RSPCA before which sends it directly to your councillor

I’m now sharing my garden bin with my neighbour and so yes, hopefully it means less ugly bins on the street Brace yourselves for the future price of food waste bins! -
Sorry for your loss, Marnie was a very cute girl

Southwark charges 20 garden waste bags for £30 and they would graciously collect them for ‘free’…. What a rip off! We’re now sharing the bin with our neighbours!
