  1. Is there somewhere local around Peckham / Goose green area where we can recycle light bulbs please? (apart from the recycling centre on old Kent road) Thank you lovely people!
  2. I reported and would encourage people to report concerns on the police website: www.streetsafetool.com It takes 30 seconds. StreetSafe is a pilot service for anyone to anonymously tell us about public places where you have felt or feel unsafe, because of environmental issues, eg street lighting, abandoned buildings or vandalism and/or because of some behaviours, eg being followed or verbally abused
  3. Another recommendation for Elly Allen! She helped me with all my curtains!
  4. I have an ultrasound mouse reppeller you are welcome to borrow if you want? I had a big mice issue in my previous flat until a pest controller blocked any potential entry point. Good luck!
  5. So sorry to hear this sad news Sally Gross
  6. Hello lovely neighbours! I have a patio and a few steps that need to be pressure washed every year. I used to have someone come around to do it but wondering whether it is time to buy one as I spent a lot of money on this already. Is it easy to use please? Is it better to buy one or to rent one please? Or is it better to have it professionally done to ensure quality? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts! Thank you!!
  7. The free version is perfectly fine to do small montages! If you need help feel free to PM
  8. I regularly use VivaVideo app (free!) on my phone. It is basically a video editor. You can create your own montage with pictures, videos, music, timing adjustments etc and it is fairly simple to use. Not sure about insta, but the final file is a video so would be easy to upload to your website. Good luck!
  9. Glad she found her way back home! She is a beauty!
  10. Found them on here and very happy with the help they gave us: Richard Newman - senior surveyor at Anstey Horne. 020 7065 2770 [email protected] Feel free to pm if you want to discuss separately Good luck!
  11. Great news Claire! She is such a beauty!!
  12. Admin, just a massive THANK YOU for running/managing this forum and enabling us to have such a great community!! I have no PHB??? knowledge but shout if I can help in any other way with the migration!
  13. Hi lovely neighbours - as always thank you all for your advice! Went to the surgery, GP filled in a paper and council came this morning to collect directly from my front door! Thanks again and stay safe!
  14. Great to hear!! Welcome to the neighbourhood!
  15. Great thank you both - will try the council again then, maybe they just had a bad day when I contacted them ;) Thanks and stay safe!
  16. Hi lovely neighbours- following a hospital stay I had to have injections. Needles have now been safely placed in a locked bin. - The council doesn't want them at the moment due to covid - Pharmacies that I have tried dont want/take them Does anyone know where I can dispose of them safely please? Next step is to contact the hospital again but they originally mentioned council. Thank you, Smiley
  17. Great news! Sultan is a beautiful cat!! Welcome to the area!
  18. Thanks guys - will put it on the sale section just in case! Spartacus - I don't need the content, just want to dispose of the VHS responsibility Thanks all! ☺
  19. I just found one VHS, brand new, french documentary on Grand canyon and california. Pains me to bin it. Any artist interested for a project maybe? Thanks Smiley
  20. Thanks for all your efforts doolallysally! Whereabouts did you see him on Copleston please? I just walked Copleston and Oglander and adjacent streets both sides and tried to look thoroughly everywhere but no luck. I might try again this weekend, poor kitty.
  21. I saw this poorly looking, drooling black and white cat on Oglander road, near the intersection with Muschamp road (around 4pm) It's hard to tell from the picture but he was looking very sorry. Maybe a stray? Posting here in case someone is missing him
  22. As KK mentioned, if they are issues both with mgt and maintenance - which often go in pair, I'd walk too. From your initial email, things sound a bit complicated already and might be worse once you are the owner. Ask your solicitor what they think maybe? In this process, the only one looking out for you would be him/her.
  23. Apologies I can't advise precisely either (I am with LV for my 9.5 year old cat at the moment and got this insurance 3 years ago). Just wanted to say thank you both for adopting old cats! They generally are at rescue centres following the death of their owners and deserve much love! They are generally not people's first choice, so again, thank you!
  24. Brilliant news!!! Thanks so much for all your efforts Benjcooper!!
  25. Ohh so sad to hear ! Thank you anyway cerv for helping and treating this poor cat with respect and taking the time to post here Smiley - cat owner
