Ahhhhhhhhhh encouraging words one & all, I will bring both racquets & try to get some new shuttlecocks too, Mike do you want me to pick you up some grippy tape for your handle, if so which colour would you like, black, grey or something more trendy & garish to match your shorts (hee hee ~I deserve a thwack of racquet or well placed shuttlecock for that) AND I shall wear my most lairy shorts next week. I have a Fusion card so could book it but will be down in Southend from early Sat til Mon eve so if anyone can get along that would be great, eeeeeek that smacks of lack of committment I know but I haven't seen my folks since August & the elusive Gecko must fulfil family duties as it's mothers birthday :-$ (NY Res - be a better daughter, hangs head in shame). Hi long time no posts... sorry Does anyone know of a Badminton club in the area, I used to play weekly & in local competions YEARS ago (like 18 years). New Years Resolution to get back into it for fitness & social aspects but not sure where nearest courts are. If anyone knows of a local club where you dont have to be a pro player to join in & can just pop along & play a friendly game I would be grateful to hear of any details. Cheers GG
