Let's not forget the reason for the snap GE was that she asked for the country to give her a clear majority/mandate to negotiate a deal based on her red lines, which she didn't get. That's what's known as democratic accountability, as would a People's Vote be on the final deal. Brexiters have taken the piss considering it was such a narrow referendum result, moving the goalposts away from a soft Brexit such as the openly discussed Norway option pre-ref, to a very hard Brexit, or worse, No Deal. Even Chequers is much harder than anyone talked about pre-ref. Can you imagine the uproar from them if the vote had been 52-48 in favour of Remain and the Gov of the day had then said ''Right, let's have a hard Remain, this means the will of the people want us to integrate further with the EU so we're going to join the Euro and Shengen''...

That was trolltastic, keep it up guys, every post rightly puts this important thread back at the top of the EDF chart. Remember, all publicity is good publicity. Don't forget the Wooferendum this Sunday too!...
  5. ...and having a march for a People's Vote is part of that Democracy. I look forward to the invite to yours to sample the delights of cabbage soup...

  13. I went for a 1-1 draw, hate 12-30 ko's, slow, boring, no excitement, and that's just the crowds...

  15. I stopped looking at it online after their appalling headlines about the judges, but I see the headlines on the late night paper reviews and there doesn't seem to be much difference with respect to Brexit. Apparently the new remain supporting editor is backing Brexit, just not as vociferously...

  18. Perhaps the Loonies (inc Corbyn & McDonnell) need to recall this... "One firm commitment I make to people who join our Labour Party is that you have a real say, the final say in deciding on the policies of our party... No-one ? not me as Leader, not the Shadow Cabinet, not the Parliamentary Labour Party ? is going to impose policy" Corbyn, 2015.
  19. Brexit has certainly created some strange bedfellows. Saying the EU is anti-socialist is the Labour Leave Loonie's way of trying to excuse jumping into bed with the far right over Brexit...
  20. This is very Fringe, a combination of wacky, funny, and downright scary. I give you the Labour Leave Loonies...
  21. Week 6 points... Week 6 table...

  23. I don't think the Labour Politburo understand that a lot of people lent their vote to Labour at the last election hoping they would support a vote on the final deal, with the option to remain. Labour voting Remainers are going to have to do a lot of soul-searching today...http://www.politics.co.uk/blogs/2018/09/24/labour-s-people-s-vote-stitch-up
