Bet all those who screeched at the top of their voices for martial law to be imposed have gone quiet.
  2. the Latim American one is coming soon. 25 food stalls all selling a variation on pork and rice. Pan pipes.
  3. Yet abother sad indication of how this area has gone to the dogs. I lived in Manchester for 10 years, and never once saw this deadly orange ball in the sky.

Not that someone would promo dubstep as a genre anyways ; )
  6. Ha. I can churn out pages of that kind of thing. and do, daily :S

Actually, with mainstream artists like La Roux handing over remix duties to the likes of Skream and even Lil wayne picking up on the sound this year - not to mention Martyn et al helping evolve it from its more simple roots of a few years back I'll stick my neck out and say it'll probably be around for a few years yet. Um, yeah, where were we. Somerfield, eh?
  8. Surprisingly, all are true.
  9. If they're still in there after 8pm you are legally entitled to punch them in the back of the head, you know?
  10. I would support the nightclub idea. Everyone on the terrace having tearful disco sunrise moments as the sun rises over LL. Huge dubstep night on Wednesdays. 8-hour minimal sets from me and Villalobos at afterhours session starting at 12 pm sundays. Get Tim Sheridan down to do something. *likes this idea*
  11. I only want to live and interact with people who share the exact values and viewpoint I impose on every single last facet of my existence, hence it doesn't sound like The Castle is for me!

  14. Someone in service industry in 'hates people' shocka. You'll be telling me you went in a record store the other day and one of the staff belittled you next. Let the guy have the only small job perk he has forgodssake.
  15. I wish my life was so devoid of content that I had time to get worked up about a bus driver.
  16. A mate of mine has had relations with at least 3 bar staff in there over the years, I'd say they're pretty friendly.
  17. Do they do the Erdinger 'vases'? I can't remember. Now THAT'S a stupid glass.
  18. Agreed - having an apoplexy because you're forced to drink out of a '1970s' glass is quite funny.
  19. Why does drinking beer out of a wine glass NOT look silly? You've never been much further north than Watford, have you? Try that if you're ever in Salford. Try and video what happens and post it up here if you can.
  20. In my head, I'm still in that bar, serving some braying idiot an 'eXpresso' [sic]
  21. I could really eat a crapzza right now.
  22. I used to treat everyone who came into my bar with utter contempt. It was my 'thing'.
  23. Or a Waitrose *EDF eats itself again*
  24. Most encounters I've had at the bar in the Bishop have passed without incident.
