Dulwich handy replied to Newbie9's topic in Request a Tradesperson
Cooker has been fitted / connected There isn't a working connection for washing machine to be fitted (On a later date once plumbing is sorted) Hope Newbie9 can add to my reviews /forum/read.php?30,2169256,page=1 -
Had my car taken away by bailiff 2 times for doing U turn on a roundabout in dulwich village After appeal and attempt of second appeal I was told that I can go anywhere but round on this roundabout.... I don't hold my licence for too long hence why I appeal with words " missed the turn and did not want to be a dush doing u turn 100 yards away from roundabout So continued and done 180 on roundabout that my all means in highway code does mean you can go round and round .... Because that's the point or is it not ?1100 After having my car lifted by crane and taken to DARTFORD REALIZED THAT ROUNDABOUT IS NOT FOR GOING ROUND My car was scratched Exhaust was of broken to bits Lights hanging and they not only take my money but they say that the car was returned as it was when they took possession of it (With my work tools, phone, tablet, and more ?1700 repair cost) I wonder which door to knock on as they dismissed the fact that my car was taken almost to France and vandalised in the process

I'm a builder myself materials overspent yes but delay cost is a no when it comes to clients paying for it yes if 2 - 3days delay or reasonable delay when stuff goes bum up... I'd ask client to pay and say why if he understands and agree I'd be thankful if not then because of the bond and respect I'd cough up my time and cash to satisfy in return for future work and word of mouth = respect = client feeds my family at the end... however price agreed is price to be paid (yet again material cost can not give you a reason to dispute... Time frame does!!!) been there than all andvknowvthatvclient can get fury moments when budged is not enough and the work drags up.... you should see receipts for materials and see if they are actually being used at your place (tip) delay is something you should tell your builder to eat at his cost. if things go wrong listen to alternative rather than coughing up more and more into project you can't see the end of

I'll leave my first reply as it is I'll add something smarter because there is smoke coming from my head I have no points on my license Not a single penalty My car was never clamped Never broke any traffic rule If I can't park I won't If I am not able to park the car I can't work Get builder who uses public transport Simple And don't slaughter my name for being respectful

Permit holders only all over the place Been told to park ouside private property gate with 3 cars in for whole days work And told to leave a note saying "Working above Call to move" How wrong There are rules There are regulation There are manners Common sense and courtesy Maybe DPD or sainsbury's driver would block someone's gate with one entrance only But not me Let's be honest if someone blocked my car when I try to go somewhere I wouldn't call the number but police and got the car towed away Be respectful Be be kind It's my car If I have no permit on permit holders only roads Then I can't park And won't park there I hope admin will delete the tread as it's Inappropriate Was told to break the law By the client Said no and I should not explain it more I see road sign no entry I won't go No stopping I won't stop Simple as Not having my car vandalised because angry woman doesn't respect rules
