  1. I believe, these Nisa Locals are able to set their own prices, because they are franchises. I may be wrong.. Louisa.
  2. People hugging? Jesus christ. Beggars belief. Louisa.
  3. Constantly being picked on for no reason. I?ve not even posted on here for a long while now. The minute anyone mentions my name, the usual attention seekers climb out the closet and pick on me for historic reasons. It?s unjust and tantamount to cyber bullying IMHO. Everyone is entitled to opinions, whether we agree with them or not, but personal insults without justification are a step too far. Being told I have alcohol problems by people who don?t even know me, being told my opinions are not valid because I they know best. I?ve always stated reasons for my opinions, and ultimately people said Jesus was wrong and crucified when he was actually a nice person. I can?t help it if people crave my posts, want to hear my opinions, that?s just how it is. Maybe one day you?ll all realise that actually, Louisa spoke the truth, and was a martyr at the altar of gentrification. Louisa.

The irony of your post lays in the fact that this forum was just a curious question asking where I was hiding, from a fan. But you have to make it about you don?t you KK? ?Why is no one talking about me? JELLY BELLY. Diddums. Maybe if you had something interesting to contribute people may ask after you. But you rarely do, especially recently. Hence trying the shock jock tactic, which kind of works now and then. You see, I don?t need to try any of that, what I say is true and some people can?t handle it. Not my issue. People respect those who say it as they see it, not pussy footers who like you PC up every argument with some trendy middle of the road urban intelligentsia crap. Meh. Louisa.

  6. Btw I?ve not mentioned anything about the dramatic socio demographic changes to ED in a long time. You?ve just raised it though haven?t you? Goading at its best. So, when a serious topic such as the dramatic demographic changes happening to our city are now raised in the forum, people immediately laugh it off as a nutter with a chip on her shoulder, thanks to posters such as yourself. When the reality is, ED is now unaffordable to huge chunks of working class Londoners, people who have lived here all their lives. I suppose I?ll now get banned for raising my head above the parapet to defend myself against your predictable goading. Thanks. Louisa.
  7. KK your shock jock approach to topical debate on this forum, ad nauseum, gets very dull, and yet is never called up. Yet you?re always more than happy to take a low grade, passive aggressive dig at the fox and I. Are you just jealous no one misses you when you don?t post for a while? Oh no, you don?t stop posting do you? Me me me me me and oh again. The narcissism is strong with this one *yoda voice* Louisa.
  8. Indeed KK, seeing as you are probably one of the biggest broken records on the EDF, since January 2008! Much love of course. Louisa.
  9. Happy brexit day everyone. It?s nice to finally take back control. I?m going to crack open a nice bottle of Chateauneuf du pape to celebrate. We sure do make the bestest wine in the world. Louisa.
  10. But, we are a UNITED Kingdom, therefore, no one cares what anyone outside of England thinks within this union. England makes up 85% of the population, so let?s just stop whining and whinging about everyone else as if they?re equal in this partnership. As long as the older generation get their freedom back, everyone else can go and suck ice pops. Meanwhile, in the real world (England outside London), the most important issue remains whether enough money can be crowd funded for Big Ben to chime on Brexit Day. Priorities please people. Louisa.
  11. Before we continue, could we make a minor adjustment to the thread title? ?Small minded little England xenophobes vs ultra privileged metropolitan champagne socialists still banging on about the EU referendum 3 1/2 years later?. Ah that?s better, do continue. Louisa.
  12. Only posh people go jogging, first sign of gentrification. Just saying. Louisa.

There are many good things > that have come from Momentum and a new Leader has > to find a way of blending the different views > within the party without allowing one side to > dominate. Like I said previously, no mean feat. Are you being serious? I hope not. Momentum, fronted by a private school educated millionaire, claiming to work for the common people, has in effect taken over control of Labour. If they want to fight a election on the same failed Corbyn ticket the electorate just emphatically rejected, perhaps they could setup their own political party? But no, they won?t do that will they, because they love being a loud protest movement. They have no intention of wanting to gain power to change this country. Labour with Momentum is not electable, it?s a protest group, this has now been proven. Labour under Blair and Brown is what we need, or a new version of that, and that cannot be done whilst Momentum hold the reigns of power. Momentum is NOT democracy, it is a dictatorship. One which is now damaging this countries opportunity for a progressive voice against a hard right government. Louisa.
  14. FFS even this thread can?t escape politics! I have an idea. Let?s ban political discussion on the forum, until two weeks out from a general election. Louisa.
  15. Momentum should be removed from controlling the Labour movement with immediate effect. They?ve not just damaged the Labour Party, they?ve damaged our democracy, they?ve hijacked it for their own ends and have facilitated a hard right government for the next five/ten years minimum. It?s a shocking and deluded power grab which needs to come to an end. Corbyn was used as a figurehead radical for momentum?s own ends. Louisa.
  16. Where?s David Milliband when you need him? Louisa.
  17. Indeed blah blah, and perhaps this is why the Labour Party needs to get its act together ASAP if they are to successfully scrutinise what is in effect a landslide government. Louisa.
  18. Excellent post Blah Blah. I think you?ve hit the nail on the head. Louisa.

    Mr Simms

Why do shops like these sell a poor quality version of chocolate limes? They don?t taste the same anymore. Cheap chocolate, and not enough lime flavouring. Louisa.
  20. TheCat Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Does the 'working class' still exist? A decent > tradesman will make more tha most office workers. > So where does the 'middle class' begin and end.... The working class is fragmented. You have a welfare dependent class, many of which will of course appreciate the Corbyn message. You then have a hard working but low paid class, who might appreciate some of Corbyn?s offering but equally be offended by him as a person and therefore not vote for him. You then have the former working class, who?ve made good financially but hang onto there cultural roots, and probably vote for whoever makes them better off in the pocket. Which probably won?t be Corbyn. And then you have the hard core die in a ditch Labour stalwarts of northern towns and cities, who want a decent NHS and well funded welfare state, but despise Corbyn?s Islington socialism, whilst also being vehemently pro-brexit and patriotic, who will hold their nose in a ballot box to elect anyone who isn?t Corbyn. Then you have people who live in 2 mil plus houses in Clapham, Putney and Dulwich, who will probably be shafted by Labour but vote for them because they want a scando-style socialist utopian bubble, which probably wouldn?t happen because the supposed 5% of multi millionaires who will be paying for this, will have already legged it to Singapore. The class struggle is real, but it needs someone like Tony Blair from a social democratic centrist stance to begin to remedy it, not a boogey-man from the far left who will scare off the high earners. Sweden or Denmark we are not. Louisa.

True old school Labour of the working class variety do not take to this urban wishy-washy socialism. It lacks patriotism, overtly in many cases. It?s how it comes across on the doorstep. Obviously the wealthy London right-on types, with money in the bank lap Corbyn?s brand up, but that unfortunately is not how you win elections. People saying it?s the brexit thing are sadly deluding themselves and potentially keeping Labour out of office for at least one or maybe two elections. Ditch Momentum, and get it back to the centre. Louisa.
  22. Iraq aside, I will leave this quote from Tony Blair here. Food for thought. Tony Blair on Power, 1994 'Power without principle is barren, but principle without power is futile. This is a party of government. I will lead it as a party of government?. Louisa.
  23. Blair did not try to appeal to middle england, Blair tried to appeal to everyone. That was his success as a unifying politician, or should I say ?electable? politician. He had the Tories number, he knew exactly how to engage with progressive politics, just as Sturgeon has done in Scotland. Echo chamber socialism does not work everywhere, particularly in white working class towns of the north. These people DO feel left behind as a result of Thatchers 1980?s decimation of industry, and need a voice which reflects their opinions. The Islington momentum brigade might be appealing to a few angry students and some champagne socialists who live in a 1 million plus house in Dulwich, but outside the M25 it doesn?t cut the mustard. These are the facts. Louisa.
