  1. He is the megaphone for the London underground unions, I don?t always agree with Constant strikes at a drop of a hat but I do defend the right of trade unions as a concept as it was designed to protect the workers from bosses who would exploit them and Maggie milk snatcher Thatcher tried to band them.

Nothing wrong with that Jah Lush, I find historical figures whether in music or not interesting as well I just finish reading the most evil men in history I found Vlad the impaler quite fascinating.
  4. I think it will become more of a dying bread, with this econmic climate some families cannot afford to stay at home due to financial pressures. If you are a stay at home mum and can afford to then I see nothing wrong with this at all its just about balances I never looked down at anyone who stays at home as it is a very tough job to do and fair play to you that do.

Otta Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Does liking a particular type of book, make you clever / cool / sad / boring? I read every day, but most of it is not very challenging, because I find the rest of my life challenging enough. I read to get away from that stuff. I have to agree with Otta I need escapism; the last thing I want to read when I finish work is something that melts the brain or stick my head in an oven give me smut Jackie Collins Jilly Cooper mixed in with Catherine Cookson. Does anyone know a good book on ghost stories love those too?

  15. The whole thing needs to be looked at, how much they pay there footballers which I may add are not worth the price of my toilet paper double dealings, back stabbing, and last but not least honour among thieves culture that is why football as become a joke and the fans are made to look a laughing stock paying high prices for tickets. All sports have there issues but football is the worst for this and as you say Jah Lush you have mussolini look like running things.

    Hippies

    Ha Ha :))
  24. They saying in the news today, in the future that London will have a generation of renters then house owners do to the property prices there needs to be a review on this as in Europe there are people that rent and it not frowned upon as it in England there not that obsessions to own a property to later on in life. I can only talk about Norway as I have family there and that is there view on this.

    Hippies

My understanding of a hippy, are a group of people manly in America in the late 60s early 70s that dress in the native American style clothing and have this utopia way of thinking I don?t remember a hippy movement in London certainly not where I was growing up in the 70s maybe there might be a few in the suburbs at that time. Now I think most of them are now working for the Third Sector;-)
