My sister and I was on the 185 bus on Boxing Day, as the bus stopped at ED Station a frail old lady got off the bus and left her trolley and handbag. The bus driver drove on and we rang the bell to ask her to stop but she did not my sister came from the back of the bus and demand the driver to stop and she then explain to her what has happen. My dear sister ran down the road with the trolley and handbag and gave to the old lady my sister said she was in tears has she could not catch up with the bus I insisted the bus driver waited until my sister got back on the bus the I was so proud of my sister as she is a shy sort of person.

I think people will, will shop where they can afford to LL does have a sense of snobbery about it and it does not cater for all ED residents it not just the middles classes that live there I don?t shop there it does not have a great selection for me personally and maybe that is why people are shopping elsewhere if you want members of the public to spend there money there James it needs more choice. Peckham, Lewisham, Camden, for me has more of a diverse choice.

Love the forum, I get a sense of community and a magpie of people and opinions my friends don't live in ED as they live in SW Putney and Fulham side of London and most of my family live in Wales now.

I predict more strikes and protests, as the cuts gets deeper I think the student protest was just a taster for things to come I also predict the Lib/Dem will lose more seats and the Tories will have more power they are the heirs of Thatcher so watch this space. There will be more boring reality TV programmes as it is cheaper to make and less factual and interesting programmes.

My daughter's school, closed due to teachers that could not make it in from Kent what the school tends to do is email work to the pupils so they can do it at home.

I was in my first year; at secondary school it was announced on the school tannoy there was not really a great response in my class.
