Not surprised James, I recently wrote a thread bout this going to your local surgery is a nightmare you cannot get appointments when you finally do you have to deal with an (uptight Gestapo receptionist) and what do the surgeries do with this information once it is published do they improve or don't they care? -
I think as a country, we are good at digging deep in our pockets to help any country in need and that is what make's us great but in these economic times can we still afford to do this I am not saying to stop giving aid but we might have to take a step back and look what this is costing us and now that Ireland is in trouble we might have to help them also.

I think in general, Britt?s abroad needs to be more careful when traveling certain areas of the world especially countries that see British and Americans has the enemy. It is great that the Chandlers are coming home safe but they are the lucky ones not all hostages have a happy ending. -

Very interesting points made on this thread, I must confess I am note queued up to all what?s happening in the political world as most of you are in this thread, but I very disappointed with Lib/Dem myself I always voted labour through our my adult life but I thought I would vote for them as a change from Labour and now I feel let down by them especially on the students fees subject.

Yep 100% at my work place, there are some colleagues that have relatives in Afghanistan so they were very appreciative that I organised this. -
The song game is followed by a title of a song or band your last thread was Autobahn - Senor Coconut I followed it by a band called Kid Creole & The Coconuts unless I am mistaken but that seems to be the case of what I have seen on other threads

I totally agree with you Brendan and I hate when politicians say just get a job to pay for your education err? newsflash a lot of student do work part - time to help pay for there education not everyone can afford to put there feet up and expect mummy and daddy to pay.
