  4. Hi Bellenden Belle, I found al dente pasta particulary the tubes (think its Penne) cut in half was a really good food for the little ones to push their fork into without losing it on the way to their mouth:) Good luck
  5. Hi Verds Although cows milk is fine from 1 years old. As your daughter is not eating much you could combine formula and cows milk until her appetite picks up and also as oimissus suggested cut down her milk intake to encourage her to eat more. Good luck with it all :)
  6. Has to be the classic Bourbon and choc digestive yummy

  12. Hi, You could also try bolster cushions either side of her so keeping her in position like this one . And you dont have the worry of loose blankets, I know how to make your own if you would like to PM me. Thanks Natalie Doula www.birthbabybliss.com

If anyone is interested please PM me, so I can work out numbers. Any questions please feel free to contact me. Thanks Natalie
  14. Fantastic Idea - only problem is how much I'll be spending :) Natale
  15. Working mummy, The only thing I would say about putting LO in the cotbed when having tantrums, is that it could make LO start to have a negative perspection of the cotbed i.e cotbed = place to have tantrums rather than a calm happy place to sleep :). My LO is 19 month and is having tantrums already! I have adopted the tactic of putting her in a safe, soft place to allow her to have the tantrum and vent her frustration. All children are different, but with my LO if I acknowledge and then ignore the tantrum it subsides a LOT quicker :) Good Luck Natalie
  16. Hi With my first felt I could only use big brands so used huggies which were great. But with my second and less money :) decided to try own brands. Found that Sainsbury's new born were fantastic, but as she got older they seemed really bulky and now prefer Tesco or Asda. But as others have said you just have to see what suits your baby best. Good Luck
  17. Hi, I have been there with my 7 year old and my 1 year old. I didn't think my 1 year old would like it BUT she really enjoyed it as they have quite a good area for under 4/5 year olds. It has scooters, ball area. I think it is worth the trip and a change from Gambabdo. Natalie x
  18. Hi Nicnos, I found that by getting someone else to give the bottle at first made a big difference. This doesn't usually mean someone else always has to give the feed it just means that baby gets used to milk from the bottle without the smell of you and your milk which can often be the reason for the baby not wanting to take the bottle from you. As Fuschia says it is also down to persistance. Good Luck and keep trying :)
  19. Wow well done to you MrsP! I suppose if it happens soon after one baby and you know you want more then the gap really doesn't matter :) Natalie
  20. I know what you mean about close age gaps. I'm going to have a 16month gap and for me that feels like a close age gap can't imagine an 11 month gap! :) Natalie
  21. Hi, First baby born at 38 weeks Second baby born at 38+1 weeks Natalie
  22. Hi all, I'm due 7 December and would love to meet up. So can I just check that it is this sat 10.30am Green and Black ? Also I will probably have my 7 year old and 1 year old is it OK to bring them along? Thanks Natalie
  23. Hi, I decided to get a few different colours(although my daughter usually always wears red!) that way the the my daughter still feel like she is getting to choose and I don't mind which colour as long as we don't have tears and tantrums :) For me the choice of colours is great and lets the kids express their personalities a little more than more traditional uniforms. !One word of advice on ironing, ALWAYS iron on reverse of logo. I learnt the hard way :) Natalie x
  24. Hi all, Hope I didn't offend anyone by saying 'how soon is too soon?', just wondered what everyone personally thought. For me a few weeks felt right but I know for some this would be too soon. It is a very personal choice :) Natalie
