Aptamil First - removed from Sainsburys?
Natalie Doula replied to jac428's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hello, This is the response I got from Sainsburys 'Thanks for your email about the recall of Aptimil first milk. This product recall is only affecting the batch of stock that was sent to Sainsbury's. The manufacturers contacted us and only informed us that there was a quality issue with the stock. They would not give us any more information. For precautionary measures, Sainsbury's removed the stock from the shelves until we get more information from our suppliers.' ... think I shall contact Aptamil to ask them why that batch of stock was removed, I'll let you know their response. Aptamil First - removed from Sainsburys?
Natalie Doula replied to jac428's topic in The Family Room Discussion
hello, I checked the Aptamil website and saw the follwing http://www.aptamil.co.uk/en/article.asp?chco_id=2729. This may be a reason why Sainsburys removed it from their shelves? I have also contacted Sainsburys, but as it's as it's a sunday, I may have to wait till tomorrow for a response. I will keep you posted. Natalie -

When's best to take away the nightime nappy?
Natalie Doula replied to Bobbaz's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hello, I have been here and like many things with children - they go one step forward 2 steps back! If the toilet isn't on the same floor as his bedroom, you could try putting a potty in his room and then he may feel happier getting up at night knowing the potty is right there. You could also try rewarding him for staying dry all night with a... STICKER CHART. I found these two things really helped my daughter get use to staying dry at night/ using the toilet (potty :)) Good luck and feel free to PM if you wanted to know anything else Natalie -
Congratulations reren on your pregnancy! Oakwood midwives are fantastic but Brierly are just as great. And NCT- trying calling Alison on 0844 243 6921 for Antenatal classes in our area (it's worth getting in as early as possible) and you could email Alice about Bumps and babes (weekly group for expectant and new parents) [email protected]. I had morning sickness from conception until about 21 weeks (sorry). It was bad but got better as the weeks went by so hopefully it will get better for you in a few weeks. Plain crackers worked for me :)) Natalie x
