Even people rolling in money want to feel that they are getting value for that money so talking about price is valid.
  2. I stand corrected, it is adrenochrome. According to Wiki, it comes from the oxidisation of adrenalin.
  3. no it wasn't directed at you Brendan. I believe the pituitary gland is what produces hormones in the body and the original poster said that she wasn't hormonal. That reminds me of the bit in Fear and Loathing where Hunter and his lawyer get off on pituitary gland ha ha.
  4. Oh for goodness sake - think about it. And here....:)-D have one of those too.
  5. because if a man had made a post about a bunch of hormonal busy bodies it would be sexist and mysoginistic - god, shall I repeat myself here? Is it ok that a woman does it?? Jeez.
  6. "complimentary indoor shopping centre", L O L
  7. and yes, men can be hormonal, that's how they grow beards.
  8. I don't think anyone did KK, Brendan was asking a question inspired by the original post I think.
  9. If a man had made the original post it would have been shouted down as sexist and mysoginistic. Funny old world. Have you had your pituitary gland removed by the way?
  10. just had pasta primavera after suggesting it on the asparagus thread. yummy, oooh and 'vegetarian'.
  11. V informative Snooze. I am a fish and dairy eating veggie so not in fact veggie at all, just someone who doesn't eat meat and hasn't for over 30 years. I find the attitude of most meat eaters hilarious in that they feel they've not had a proper meal unless it involved meat. Obviously in SE22 this doesn't apply (admin). There are a bunch of super religious types in India - can't remember the name - who don't eat any roots; garlic, onions etc, as that destroys the plant and is therefore a no no.
  12. I have been there once actually, I'm no snob!
  13. Dear Steve, I don't think I'm being prickly particularly. I am asking a question, is 'vegetarian food' different in some way from say, food that doesn't involve meat? It's got nothing to do with restaurants particularly.
  14. she used to drink in the dog fairly frequently. She and Billy were mooching about in the village last summer too
  15. There are only a very few women who look good in leggings in my opinion.
  16. "The Glades" For people who like sterile, bland, conformity all without having to be in the nasty outside fresh air. "LL and side roads" For people who like to live a little Edited to keep on topic!
  17. there's also the adventure playground by Sainsbos
  18. "but we eat vegetarian food a couple of times a week just because we enjoy it". I'm not being rude here I hope, but I think you mean you don't eat meat twice a week don't you? What exactly is vegetarian food? I am one and I'm really interested to know. I just eat food that happens not to be meat.
  19. I am trying so hard to ignore Lousia's last post
  20. Hmm, I take it that is tongue in cheek.

Hmmm, I used to quite like Terry Wogan until I read his autobiography and thought he came across as a self-satisfied, grandiose twat. Shame.
