Why doesn't the EDF make a charge for advertising in the For sale and Wanted sections? surely the days of providing this service gratis are over? Say, minimum ?1 to advertise in the for sale section and 10% of sale price goes to EDF admin. Minimum ?1 to post in Wanted section. Minimum ?1 to advertise something free and minimum ?1 to take/accept something free. From what I see there must be at least 10 for sale ads and 10 wanted ads every day. 20 x 7 x 52 = ?7,280 before your 10% How do you administer it? Provide a sort of old fashioned PO box facility for all sales/wanted so everything goes through you rather than private truncations.

Okay Peeps. despite what you read from some of the more hysterical posters I am not an unreasonable person. so, taking some of the criticisms on board I have just spent 10 minutes scanning every post on this thread. conclusions: This thread is entitled Too many muggings what can we do? page 1 of this thread. with the exception of Sleeping Dog who volunteered to patrol and ???s who suggested more prisons nobody posted an answer to the question, despite patting each other on the back

Let's hope there isn't any alien life on meteorites for their own sake. If some scientist squinting down a microscope does discover such lifeforms the EEC will tax them, people like Huguenot will sell them insurance, some idiot will find a way to extend human rights law to them and I'll invent an alien bug spray, marketed to kill 99% of alien lifeforms we haven't even discovered yet.

Huguenot, surely religious oriented people believe in Alien life, ie Supernatural God, angels, devils and so are more open minded on the subject than most? In fact I wouldn't be surprised that in a world of multiple universes there is a Pope Huguenot dispensing blessings as we speak

Problem is harsher prison sentences cost money the government isn't prepared to pay for. Better parenting is a difficult concept in broken families where the local gangster is a role model. PS Galliano is presumed innocent until proven guilty in my view. We still don't know the identity of those who he attacked, or who provoked him. I still maintain, in the absence of evidence to the contrary, that it could have been a set up. Unfortunately much of the world has already made it's mind up.

zeban, how do you protect this community you speak so highly of? and what's with playing the Jewish card? one of the things I respect about Israel is it stands up for itself. what you haven't given me and the EDf (despite cheap swear at Silverfox symbols) is any other recommendations as to how to solve the mugging problem. Until you do so my solution is feasible.
