  3. They seem to be regular visitors, one visits the pond in Sunray Gardens, N Dulwich from time to time, love the way they spread their wings when they're resting.

  5. Yep, bought a smile to my face, great music, lyrics, and video... brilliant :)
  6. Agree, ours were out all year, even in snow. Foxes definately the problem so you need a very secure hutch.

  11. Indeed, I have found it a most entertaining and informative thread so far. On a related topic, I like to check out cloud of the month https://cloudappreciationsociety.org/cloud-of-the-month/

  16. Anything by Nina Stibbe, particularly loved Man at the Helm, but they're all good ? it probably helps if you grew up in the sixties though.

  18. It does split the party, so they now have to sit down and look for a solution because both sides must realise that providing a strong opposition which is electable next time round is the goal here. It's no time to storm out the door, there's work to be done.
  19. He's convinced he's in the right, which is fine, but he should just stand back now and let history judge, he doesn't need to keep fighting. There are bigger things going on now. If he really wants to help either Labour, or the cause of antisemitism, he should accept it's not all about him. More divisive stuff, we really don't need it!

    eco tips

Good tips here... turn your heating down as well as the hot water, stop buying new stuff, especially clothes. Top tip from Malumbu re compost heap, wish it was easier for us women, don't want to frighten the neighbours though.

  24. I was issued a fine for moving into a bus lane to allow a fire engine to pass safely in Acre Lane ? on the photos it clearly showed the blue-lighted engine coming at me. There was also a traffic island and an oncoming vehicle, so I was avoiding a pile-up. I had to go through all levels of appeal, was rejected at least once but eventually the charge was withdrawn. General advice, don't go into bus lanes, generally it's not too hard!
  25. That sounds very unsatisfactory. My GP is using their waiting room, but only for a handful of people ? when I went for my flu jab there were a couple of others waiting, miles apart. Surely if someone is recovering from surgery, and coming by public transport, they could accommodate that more sympathetically!
