  1. If you've ever actually read this forum you will have noticed i'm one of the most vocal supporters of the English cricket team. They're a bit shit at 1 days though. Although this one might be close from the looks of things.
  2. Man with a mission - Bad Religion
  3. Murder the government - NOFX
  4. Like Kipling?s leopard*, I see no reason why I cannot become spotted if I so choose. *That would be the character from late Victorian parable and not some sort of dotty panthera pardus based confection.
  5. I?m not spotted although I was as a youth. Should I still wear a hat?
  6. Mostly pointless. Anyway I was just being emotive. Or alternatively let?s perhaps start from the ludicrous assumption that I understand how an economy works, how the monetary system developed how banking works and how Britain has positioned itself as a global provider of financial services. Then suppose I was questioning the wisdom of an economy based entirely on making money available. Or maybe I was questioning the monetary system in itself and quite possibly the whole political, legislative and economic fabric of this fuckwitted world. Or maybe I?m just pissed off because the public services and infrastructure that my tax money is supposed to be supporting are going to lose out because the financial sector cocked up and decided they should have all the cash. Sorry, don?t mean to sound too arsey but I know about insurance and pensions and fings, really I do.
  7. Pity their fucking website isn't working.
  8. You mean this place isn?t set up for my own personal whim and amusement? I would just like to be the first one to say, I remember when it was all fields around here. Also, shouldn?t this perhaps be in the Drawing Room.
  9. Not to disappoint quids http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/how-to-draw-animals-94.jpg
  10. Corridor. Corridor! We had to live with the whole family in a puddle.
  11. You were lucky you were.
  12. Never try to stare down a cat. That?s how they steal your soul. Or is that how they steal you sole? Or perhaps it?s how they steel your soul. I can never remember. Got to go the cat?s calling.
  13. And to think I always assumed it was a contraction of Harris Trunk.
  14. Controversial, unrealistic it may be but ?political correctness gone maid? it aint.
  15. I?m not sure (haven?t read the thread yet) but I think Ian Wright is dead now too.
  16. jimmy two times Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > He doesn't have to mention her gender. In fact we had a female water polo coach at provincial level. I never thought it was somehow ground breakingly politically correct.
  17. Rolf Harris was still alive! rofl!
  18. No more so than the others. The press is a load of politically engendered codswallop. Anyone who buys in wholesale into the ideology peddled by any of the main broadsheets is about as misguided as someone who thinks that their world view can be vindicated through affiliation to a political party. I have to read the Times, Guardian and Independent to try to figure out what is really going on. Although at least you don?t encounter some of the blatant right wing bullshit in the Guardian that you sometimes come across in some of the comment pieces in the Times.
  19. Where?s the political correctness gone mad*? He makes a convincing argument, not one of his points has anything to do with her gender. *Whatever that actually means.
  20. heh heh. Nice one.
  21. You have either misinterpreted what I said or your last post was in seriously bad taste. I?ll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume the former.
  22. Yeah, I know shitloads of dead people who didn?t get the joke. M8 :))
  23. Does, people sticking guns in your face count as near death experiences?
  24. Yeah BBC wotsit or ITcrap or whatever it?s on have cut it. Next year will be the last one apparently unless it gets bought by someone else. Or so I was reliably informed by my brother and sister in-law when they made us eat our tea in front of it when I was visiting recently.
  25. If, inexplicably even still, you somehow believe in the social benefit of the over inflated, largely pointless and parasitic banking industry or you think that our intrepid leader?s complicity in it is somehow honourable, please read this. I know George Monbiot is an annoying, patronising so-n-so but he sums things up very well here. http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2009/sep/07/financial-meltdown-gordon-brown-g20
