    i saw a big white-ish bird with bright blue wings in my garden the other day. Have no idea what it was but then not knowing much about birds I wouldn't. Looked like something you would get in Africa.

    I go through Brixton - Clapham - Wandsworth - Putney - Barnes - Over Hammersmith Bridge - Pick up the A4 - Through Chiswick becomes M4. Don't know if this is the quickest way though.

    My surname is already a double barrel name (although with a ?van? preposition rather than the Poncyville-Dickwadson kind) so when I asked my fianc? if she would like to double barrel her surname when we get married she told me I was being an idiot. Don?t blame her to be honest. I wouldn?t inflict a triple barrel name on my children. She?s taking my name when we get married. I don?t think she likes hers.

    Ednerd your suggestion brings to mind a proverb about teaching a man to fish rather than giving him a fish. Personally I agree with Keef on this but if they are going to insist on giving the area money why don?t we come up with a cunning plan to spend it on beer?

    Maybe I?m from a different generation but all the ?working class? people I know have degrees or successful trades of some kind that earn them more than those of us with degrees.

    Last time I went into a hospital I found the nurses uniforms rather disappointing. In reality they are not at all what I was led to believe. I always thought they had to be made out of latex so that blood could be whipped off easily. Anyway what kind of uniform do commodities brokers wear and which pub are we talking about? I?m trying to picture this.
