Jeremy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I don't understand why anyone would want one of > these horrid creatures. There are many breeds of dog who are all capable of behaving badly and biting and many do, however there are an equal amount of dogs who in the hands of responsible owners cause no trouble whatsoever it is foolish to condemn a breed just because there has been reports of a small amount of irresponsible owners who do not train or control their dogs properly and allow them to become out of control. There have been far worse incidents reported in the press over the years where the attacks or incidents have involved other breeds then staffs or even bull breeds but it seems like the bull breed have unfortunately been branded one of the worst breeds. I do think the latest incident was unfortunate and i hope the lady in question was not hurt to badly however i do feel that no one really knows why the dog in question bit her and i feel it is totally unnecessary to turn this in to a witch hunt damning all bull breeds without knowing what really went on. It is also worth remembering that the dog in question may be in fact returned to the owner as has happened in the past as it was her dog that bit her she will probably be asked what she wants doing with it and it may very well be her own decision on that issue that determines whether it is destroyed or not.

What road are you on ?
-
If its the man i'm thinking of he lives by the side of goose green on east dulwich road and dogs are always off their leads and he can often be quite rude. He definately needs talking to about this matter and those dogs nee06.d to be on a lead at all times. Poor cat if dogs were leaded in first place there would be less chances of things like this happening. Any description of the cat just in case it wasn't a stray

former East Dulwich councillor - how can I help?
cassidy replied to James Barber's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Hi James Sorry if i was not clear, the filtering system is by the church and starts just before the houses on the church side. There is a lollypop lady crossing children there in the morning and afternoons however i've noticed more recently when picking up my niece from school that her view is often quite obscured by a camper van and some times cars parked just off the filtering system where the white lines are. At a meeting i attended last year there was some mention of different lines being painted to stop traffic parking in those spaces making it easier for the children when crossing and also allowing a better flow of traffic which would hopefully prevent hold ups and could help avoid accidents. -

cassidy replied to James Barber's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Hi James, Just a query i was wondering if you could help me with in regards to Adys road. I witnessed some children trying to cross by the filtering system and their view of the road was badly obscured by parked cars/vans right up against the filtering system. I did hear a while ago at a local meeting that there would be yellow lines to prevent this however i have not heard anything since and was wondering if this was still happening as the traffic often speeds along there and more visibility would be beneficial in preventing accidents. -
Who done it, please - The Killing/Forbrydelsen
cassidy replied to languagelounger's topic in The Lounge
Ive just caught up with ep 16 all the red herrings seem to be falling by the wayside as the jumper gets back on the case. Lund is getting support in following up her new lead which is proving to be finally on the right track and seems to be shedding light on more then just Nannas murder. Olav was just a space filler and of not much importance apart from who he dealt with and the killer is close to being revealed with a big clue in this episode. -

Just wondering if anyone has noticed a black and white around hindminds/tyyrell road that seems to have what looks like a growth hanging down from it stomach. Saw it today and was wondering if it had an owner or was a stray in need of help/taking to the vets.

Is the illegal cone placer on ondine road by any chance as there was a previous post about someone placing bins until they got fined just wondering if its them that have resorted to the cones if so perhaps another fine is called for. -
