  1. Hello! Well, what a success! It was so lovely to get together, I loved it! Just wish I could have chatted even more with everyone :) I would definitely love to make it a regular thing. How does once a month sound? And does Friday work as well for everyone as Thursdays? Also, was the location ok for everyone? Thanks for coming, and to those of you who couldn't make it, hope to see you next time! Sophie p.s. Friday a month from now is Friday 16th April (last Friday of the Easter school holiday).
  2. Hey Molly, That is great to know! Would love for you to be able to come to the next one, so thanks for letting me know when you are free :) Sophie x
  3. Hi everyone, Thank you firstly for all of your lovely messages! Just wanted to confirm that we have some space booked at the Dulwich Park Cafe (The Pavillion), tomorrow, at 2pm. The table is booked in the family friendly side, hopefully next to the toys. They said they have been really busy this week, so might need to do some last minute table pushing together, but they are going to do their best to make us welcome. So, very excited to catch up with those of you who can make it at 2 tomorrow. Will update after to let those that couldn't get there know how we got along, and when the next meet up is scheduled for! With warm wishes, Sophie
  4. Hey Vanessa, Will be great to see you on Thursday - i have some pool questions too, so we can have a good old goss about it. Yay! Sophie
  5. Hi Ladies, Still on track for 2pm on Thursday, at the cafe in Dulwich Park. I'll be reserving a space for us (if I can), so do let me know if you are coming/can't make it :) Will be lovely to meet everyone and share experiences. Thanks, Sophie
  6. hi RJ - of course, I will let you know how we get on and future meet up times. Looking forward very much to meeting the ladies that can make Thursday, and to future meet ups with those that can't. Thanks for everyone's great responses. Sophie x
  7. I am forever washing my hands as I work as a cookery teacher, and they get so sore and cracked. The only thing that works for me, without stinging, is olive oil! Cheap as it's already in the kitchen! Just apply a small amount to damp hands, and there you go. The don't even feel greasy, and nice and natural too. S
  8. 2pm is totally fine by me. I will give them a ring ahead and see about reserving us a spot. Exciting! I will put in special request to be near the toys :) Thanks ladies, really looking forward to it. S x
  9. Hi ladies, Thanks for your messages! Sounds like we could have a nice little group together for a chat and a cuppa. Would the cafe in Dulwich Park be an ok location for everyone? And how about next Thursday afternoon (18th March)? 2.30pm? Let me know what you think. Sophie x
  10. Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone would be interested in starting a home birth tea group, for pregnant ladies and people already with their babies? I am due at the start of May, and would love to meet other people who are planning home births, and people who have already experienced home births. I thought it would be fun to get a tea group going, if other people thought it would be nice? I haven't been able to find a regular home birth support group that meets in our area? If anyone is interested, just let me know and we can put in a location and time to get started! Best, Sophie
  11. Katie Appleton's class at The Light Studio by Victoria station is AMAZING: http://www.lightcentrebelgravia.co.uk/yoga/Katy_Appleton/katy_appleton.html I tried two more local classes first before I started Katie's, and I absolutely LOVE hers. If you want any more info about it, just PM me. Sophie x
  12. I'm registered at Kings, and am in Lambeth (live in west dulwich). I just told my mid-wife at my booking in appointment that I wanted a home birth, and they referred me to the Community Midwives, and I am registered with the West Team. So far, it was as simple as that. Good luck with everything!
  13. HI, Thanks so much for posting about this! I am going to get baking and sell my cupcakes at work. What a great idea from Bliss! Thanks so much for sharing. Sophie x
  14. The Pizza Express in Dulwich Village is great with kids - the staff couldn't be nicer, and they are really used to it as lots of families go there! Definitely a nice option.
