Crokes
Muji used to sell a simple but moveable model solar system. Not sure if they still sell them. My friend's daughter loves hers. hazelnunhead
Look on the online shop for the Science Museum, they have a few things that might be suitable. Renata Hamvas
Hi OttaMy daughter made one for a school project. She used polystyrene and paper balls which she painted and hung them on sticks to form a mobile. You can buy kits to do this. For example:http://www.yellowmoon.org.uk/solar-system-kitsRenata Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/100255-solar-system-model-or-projector/#findComment-981703 Share on other sites
sleepy-li
My daughter is keen to be an astronomer, she's 7 and we bought her this projector for her birthday last yearhttp://www.amazon.co.uk/National-Geographic-Astro-Planetarium-Multimedia/dp/B00FQDWPNQ/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1459865970&sr=8-9&keywords=solar+system+projectorstupidly pricey but it does work well - its ontop of her wardrobe and projects well onto the ceiling, rotating but not too noisy, she absolutely loves it. Have you been to the planetarium at Greenwich? Its fab.Hope that helps!
