Robbery Lordship Lane Post Office

Was told today that one of my colleagues who works for William Hill had her bag stolen today upon entering the Post Office on Lordship Lane when she was going to bank some monies. From what I gather it did happen inside the premises, the guy tapped her on the shoulder and told her not to do anything silly and give over what she had- which was approx ?400. Apparently he had a covered up face. Anyone witness this or see anything strange happening? Happened around lunchtime. Any info please contact local police. Cheers.

If that is all the description the 'victim' could come up with, it sounds almost as if they were in cahoots and do not want the police to trace the robber.

If it happened inside the premises surely there is CCTV in the post office as that place has been robbed a few times in the past....

I was in the LL PO yesterday afternoon between 1pm and 1.10pm. Nothing strange happening when I was there.

Steve - what a wierd post. Did you see two men with covered up faces robbing women and you aren't sure which one was which?
