Looking to meet some people!

Hiya, My names Charlotte, I am 22 and Ive recently moved to West Norwood to work as a live in nanny. I haven't really met any other nannies around West Norwood so just thought I would put a post up on here to see if I could meet some people around my age to go out for drinks/coffee etc with!

Hi Charlotte, given some of the responses you may get would you please clarify what 'around my age' means? Actually while you're at it what does 'etc' mean after drinks and coffee? I'm sure there will be plenty of nice people here who will be happy to meet you but just thought a bit of clarity wouldn't go amiss.

I'd say that 'around her age' might mean around 22...

Etc might suggest that she's fairly open to the suggestions of a local or two as to what might be worth doing.

Am I in the right ballpark Charlotte?

It might be good if you give a little background like if you're from out of town or/and if you speak another language.

You are indeed Acid!! No not just looking to meet other nannies,moved here from Devon so would just be nice to meet some people to go out with as it's not really a job where I get to meet anyone else, no I dont speak any other language.

Her name is Charlotte, she's 22 and she's recently moved to West Norwood to live and work as a nanny. She hasn't met and befriended any work colleagues (ie nannies) around West Norwood yet, so she thought she'd post here.

Narnia you are being scary again. Do stop it dear. The poor girl is just trying to make her working life more sociable and you are giving the distinct impression that, given half a chance, you'd shine a light in her eyes and start yelling. Hop off and play with someone your own size!

Thank you everyone for the replies! I know its not the most original name but I tend to use charlotte87 as a username for everything as otherwise I forget what Ive put and have to constantly reset things!
