Minitoots
We want to get a special cake for an artist friend's 50th birthday which as well as tasting good, should look great as well. We want something really original - any suggestions? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/103948-birthday-cake-for-50-yr-old-wanted/ Share on other sites
bumpy
Not the cheapest but these cakes taste amazing. They have standard cakes to buy but they'll also create "anything" you ask for!http://www.crumbsanddoilies.co.uk/cakes.html Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/103948-birthday-cake-for-50-yr-old-wanted/#findComment-990991 Share on other sites

bornagain
Yes, second Friddle's cakes. Em baked a cake for my father-in-law's birthday - copy of The Guardian and a mug (all edible!) It made the party! It was also fun commissioning it as well. vikvickivik
I can recommend Sarabration cakes by Sarah Gaskell. She just made a fantastic cake for my sons 6th birthday with a bowling theme. I was very impressed with the decoration and the chocolate cake was delicious too. Have a look at https://m.facebook.com/SarabrationCakes for more info.
