Loud firework type noises Overhill

Anyone else hear this? Any idea what it is? I couldn't see a thing....

It was for the launch of the Viking sea boat in grenwich

Just heard it. Very loud rumbling, thundery sound. Thought it was thunder first of all as my cats ears pricked up before I heard it.

It did sound like Thunder at first and could not see any Fireworks but only lasted 1-2 mins..

I live high on a hill in Forest hill and saw arguably the most epic fireworks I've ever seen in London out of my bedroom window at this time.

It seemed to be around Honor Oak Park.

Much nearer than Greenwich.

Got me too at first.

The current ship is the Viking Sea, a new one I guess will be called the Viking Sun.
