The Co-op movement has a political arm too - the Co-operative Party - which has its own manifesto: Co-op manifesto

Next!

So far it has failed my price comparison test - albeit a rather simplistic one. 500gm Shreddies - ?1.50 Morrisons - about ?2.20 at the Co-Op, and 70% Lindt Dark Chocolate ?1.25 Morrisions and ?1.89 Co-Op. But as it is only 2 minutes walk away I guess I'll be using some carbon saving excuse for spending more there.

Ha. My favourite Whole Foods item is Fuji water. It comes from , you know, Fuji. Must be good.

They usually put it under one of their posters trumpeting their ethical credentials. Because shipping water 13,000 miles is perfectly reasonable.

I hear ya! It makes me laugh out loud reading half the c*** they write on the labels of bottled water. Seriously.

Yes - sometimes we seem to take access to clean* tap water for granted in the UK.

*compared to some parts of the world.

Edited for rubbish grammar.
