This story highlights the consequences of neglect. Its very sad. Caring for the elderly is a responsibility we all should share. I've been thinking about volunteering to help the elderly in our area for some time and the effects of this cold spell has prompted me to do something about it, instead of just thinking about it.

Well! I hope you don't talk this dirty when you are visiting your elderly folk!!! Might give them a heart attack!

Oh I see ????....just because you fell asleep again...and missed the big one again...I shouldn't get it either?...hmmmph...admit it...you are equally miffed...distraught in fact...hence your terrible stutter... (*big fat grin*)

But you must admit...brum being oblivious like that...it's a bit of a waste...no, worse than that...it's a travesty...

*sobs violently*

Should a member give an oppinion as, that member is not old he is a fake!

Thereafter nobody enquiers How is he?

Those who did post to the member now no longer do so, on that unfounded oppinion,

because the beleif of that one person.

A member can if not led make their own decisions as to what they do.

Making a wrong decision can mean life or death, but then who cares he was looking to score a point.

Those who were beleivers are seen to be sbsent by all.

I although old, I do try in my small way to see that others are able to look after themselves.

I love it when I come across articles where a raft of my own prejudices are stitched together in one neat, ?Why everyone?s a cunt.? package. http://www.independent.co.uk/opinion/commentators/steve-richards/steve-richards-i-hope-the-slovenians-beat-us-2006897.html

Although it could have been done with a more elegant venom.

I loved the article, sadly I tink its conclsion that 'A gormless 1-0 defeat tomorrow might lead at least to a few hard questions being posed. I can't wait.' is sadly utter bollocks.

It hasn't in the past and it won't again.

Platini's recently passed regulation that Clubs can only spend on transfers and wages from their turnovers, outside investment can only be ploughed into facilities etc, will probably have much more far reaching consequences than yet another meek exit from a tournament.

I like that is was an angry old man rant that has been worked backwards into reasoned argument.

He decides that what makes him angry are overpaid footballers, arrogant bankers and the uselessness of BP. Then decides to distil it into an argument which demonstrates that each of their respective faults are caused by the same shared, base arseholeness. Like there is a most recent common ancestor of arseholery manifest in arseholes everywhere.

The England football team ? arseholes

Bankers ? arseholes

BP ? arseholes.

    • From the school newsletter:   A New Name for Dog Kennel Hill As you know we have been discussing and consulting with stakeholders about a  name change at DKH for a while. Following engagement with staff, pupils and  families, we gathered all views on a name change for the school and after  careful consideration of the feedback, the Local Committee and the Trust have  agreed with changing the school name to Grove Primary School from  September 2025.  Over the next few months we will begin a gradual process of changing our  name on signage, our website and emails etc. We will keep you updated.  We will be looking at designing a new logo to match the new school name and  will be working closely with a graphic designer to get creative. The school  council will be actively involved in this process. We will share the results with  you as soon as a design has been agreed and confirmed. We will be creating a  new school jumper to replace the old one, once the logo has been finalised. We  will phase this in over time.  We know that this is a welcoming change for some and that there are  parents and children who will be sad about the change. However, as a school  we think it will be a positive change for our school community and we will  work together to ensure that the ethos and culture of DKH will remain!
    • if I think of Corbyn dealing with a global pandemic (a lot of his supporters and some of his family come from the woo end of the spectrum - his brother is a proper anti-vax nut), then the  invasion of Ukraine (Corbyn long record of not exactly condemning Putin even as he killed people on British soil and many other matters, I  really do shudder
