I am just over the 5 months stage in my pregnancy and would be really interested in meeting up with other people who are expecting their bundle of joy soon too!

This is our first baby and is due at the beginning of August.

I work from home Mondays and Tuesdays so these are best for me, but can be flexible.

Look forward to hearing from you!

Hello. Would love to join you all for coffee at some stage (I'm 20 weeks with my first - due on 10 August) but unfortunately work full time in the big bad city so can't do week days at the moment. I may be able to work from home when I have midwife appointments over the next few months though so I'll let you know when my next one is once I find out tomorrow!

I'm five months too, with my second, due July 29 and would be very keen to meet others due around the same time! I currently work mon-wed and Thursdays are generally best for me as I have childcare for #1 but I swap days occasionally so hopefully i'll be able to meet up at some point, particularly as the due date gets closer. Wishing everyone the best with their pregnancy and hoping you are all enjoying the blooming second trimester :)

By the way, there is a good pregnancy exercise class at jags every Monday night 7pm that I usually go to if anyone is interested. Can't make tonight but will be there next week x

Hello again. My next midwife appointment is Friday 23 April so I'll probably work from home that day if that's any good for you all. Alternatively, I might be able to do 15 April.

anna_r - Do you have to be a member at Jags to do the exercise classes do you know?

All sounds great, I might try the class out next week anna_r.

I am off on holiday on the 14th April for 2 weeks, so couldn't do wither day you suggested Knomester! Typical - completely happy to join the next time though.

Would definitely be great to meet up at some point, possibly building up a mini mum and baby network!

  • 2 weeks later...

Hi All,

Just though I would put in a couple of dates that I can make and see if they were free for anybody else too!

Monday 26th or Tuesday 27th April.

We are not going to be doing NCT classes, so would quite like to meet some people having babies around the same time as us!

    • Dishing the dirt is generally fine when it comes to politicians and in Farage's case he often deserves it but  nothing illegal  has been done. It is not illegal for him to give his partner a sizeable amount of money with which to buy a house and have it registered in her name. He is 64 years old and his partner is 16 years younger and so he most likely is making plans to minimise IHT. There is a sliding scale for IHT but basically a gift is free of IHT if the gift is made 7 years before the donor dies. Farage is 64 years old and his partner is 16 years younger. In 7 years time, if he lives that long, he will be 71 years old. Given that he smokes like a chimney and drinks like a fish, his odds on getting beyond 71  years may be pretty slim.  A similar  process is followed by the "bank of mum and dad"  where parents  give money to their kids to fund purchase of a property. Many who are not cash rich will mortgage their home and so release equity to fund their kids property. We did it as have many of our friends.
