I live just round the corner and my polling station is now Lordship Lane Baptist church, 287 Lordship Lane. That must be the one at the junction of Goodrich Road. New one to me since it has always been Heber Road school in the past. They must actually have been listening about alternatives in order to avoid disruption to the children's education.

You would not believe how much effort Cllr Rosie Shimell, former cllr Jonathan Mitchell and I have gone to get that church used rather than Heber School.

We had a chair lift installed for example three years ago. Fingers crossed everyone is happy for it to become a permanent polling station replacing Heber School?

    • From what I have read, the reason given for not doing that is that  it would take up too much government time which would be  better used for more important matters. Whether that's just a convenient excuse, I have no idea.
    • Which session?  I have Silver swim booked for tomorrow and not cancelled as yet
    • Oh dear 😮 That's very poor. I hope the solicitor in question is more careful in other aspects of their job ...... In that case, I assume the solicitor realised they had shared the letter by mistake and then somehow reversed the sharing? I don't know if that is possible, but it's the only explanation I can think of. Also, maybe it's  possible for Windows and Apple documents to be shared? Because documents produced in one system can be viewed in another, otherwise people would only ever be able to communicate with people using the same system? But I'm sure there are people on here who can confirm or otherwise, as I'm just making assumptions.
