jenny1840
I think its great that the half a conservative MP in the area, Toby Ecclesburger now has one ear trumpet in parping distance from the corridors of power. So this year at the Dulwich fair we will mostly be seeing a renaissance of plaid, jam tasting little britain stylee and a very special live televised celebrity politician make over, with special guest John Major who with the help of genius speech writer Gok Wan will turn John from cricket green and warm beer conservative into acoustic strumming , folk twirling , VW toureg driving ECO warrior , ban the bomb ( some time down the line, well off the table completely really) all singing all dancing Liberal ! -Its a must, tickets on sale soon for 1old Pound . katie1997
RosieH
Oh zounds Woof, you beat me to it.jenny, just because you're too poor to afford an Aga, don't come on here ranting about spinelessness - try a Rayburn instead. And if you're all about the deliciousness, they do a frightfully good bone marrow salad at St John Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/11275-eccles-cakes-anyone/#findComment-323957 Share on other sites
katie1997
Oh RosieH - you have reminded me of a blast from the past, my nana had a rayburn (my mums family lived on a farm in the middle of nowhere - I'm sure those cookers would not have featured in countrylife magazine back then). St. John also do a good risotto milanese made with bone marrow (as it should be).
