The quickest way (or easiest way) is train to LB then the Jubilee line (with a potential switch to the Metro Line at Finchley Rd) to Wembley Park station.

A nicer way (only slightly slower) is to make your way to Marylebone and get the fast train to Wembley Stadium station. It drops you closer to the stadium, and you miss all the craziness at the tube station.

Denmark Hill to Clapham Junction. Overground

Clapham Junction to Willesden Junction Overground

Willesden Junction to Wembley Central. Overground

Turn right out of station

Takes about 45 minutes with good connections, usually is when an event on at Wembley

Enjoy the gig whatever route you decide.

You also need to consider the return leg. If evening event then ensure in time for last train. I did Springsteen on a Sunday so no late train. I drove to Southwark station (parked opposite in Union Street), then Jubilee to Finchley Road where switched to Metropolitan. Took 1 hour going to get inside stadium. Coming back did Metropolitan fast to Baker Street and then Jubilee line.

Thanks everyone!

Looked into the helicopter option but apparently my back garden isn't big enough. Opted for Jubilee line to W. Park on the way there. On way back did Wembley Station to Marylebone/Bakerloo Line. Was a breeze coming back that way - train arrived just as we got to the station - even got a (comfy) seat.

Glad I asked now!

    • Which has, unfortunately, closed. Au Ciel is much better than Gail's. Big bakery in the parade of shops near Rocca in Dulwich Village with all the seats outside - you can't miss it. Normally a big queue outside at weekends with walkers and cyclists topping up on carbs and coffee!
    • Hi, just to say there was an attempted car theft at the FH end of Underhill over Friday night. Without wanting to go into all the detail, they were pretty adamant and took a great deal of time to (try) take the car. The police came within minutes, and drove around etc.. The police said the car was in demand at the moment. I don’t know if that was brand or model. notwithstanding what the police said, all car owners should be vigilant and neighbours. These thieves were interrupted twice by neighbours, but the thieves came back etc and the neighbours didn’t put 2+2 together as to what was happening to the car. The thieves were two guys, on the cctv it looked like they were wearing grey, but it may have been black (cctv can look odd at night). My neighbours said they were black. They had a bag with them, no doubt carrying tools and they may have been dropped off by a car, that is being investigated.  Take care!!
    • Chain of cafe.. upmarket. One in village.. Been there for at least 3 years. On same side of street as detached houses, one which usually opens her garden for charity.
