This happened to me a few years ago as I was cycling (straight ahead) on Lordship Lane. Lady in MPV on school run did just that without indicating left. I sustained a fractured hip. I think that buses and lorries are getting better in this respect though.

This, and also overtaking to then break sharply

in front for speed bump :(

CPR and Bellend road specially bad for this.

My God you lot must be fit! There's nothing gentle about the incline on CPR LOL!!! How are you on Sydenham Hill? Despite having climbed it hundreds of times, I still feel as though I am going to have a heart attack when going that way! Fun coming down though!

    • Would this not be a complaint better aimed at the council? Isn't it an anti social behaviour issue?  I think of myself as pretty live-and-let-live and feel like a miserable cow for saying this, but I do think I might complain. Personally I love the sound of fireworks but our dog is under the table, shaking like a leaf night after night and collapses in the street when he hears the noise.  I'm worried his heart'll give out.
    • The lower / no bang noise fireworks sound great.    Is there anywhere local selling those?
    • This petition to reduce the noise of fireworks is currently going through Parliament https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/738192
    • Have you complained to the solicitor directly and did they respond within the 8 weeks they have under their code of conduct - I presume they have and this is why you have escalated further to the SRA? If he doesn't respond in a timely fashion per the SRA code of conduct then I am sure they will need to take action.
