Bored? Don't you have the telly? I have two, one of which is in colour.

I'm in a constant state of thrill.

Go on Ms D, Argos will let you have one and you won't even have to pay for a year.

This weekend alone will ensure you can watch Saturday Morning Kitchen, and if you watch it on the correct receiver it'll be in colour.

The butter will never look more real.

Oh piffle...

Ever been to Iceland in mid winter..?

No, well "tornado scmornado" add - 13 degrees, an iced up runway, then see your nipples stiffen

Did I mention it's always nearly dark ? well 100 KM from the North Pole and wind so strong I entered the "twin prop" plane horizontal. Only to find everyone keeps their coats on for the flight over the icy mountains & volcanos like they expect to crash

Yeah & they do in flight stuff too, I mean who's thinking perfume when underneath is an icy tomb slipping by at a rate of knots

Jeezus, I need to lay down..

Oh BTW have a good trip..

W**F

I asked without the ring - heard too many horror stories about having to take the ring back as it is not liked. I think it must be rare for guys to pick it themselves these days.

Although nervous at the time of the proposal (by the canal in Bruges), my nervousness was about the cost!!

Anyway - we got the ring and Found London Girl has been smiling ever since and is very chuffed to soon to be Mrs LYM!!

Thanks for all the good luck messages!

    • Well according to a newspaper article, Gail’s is opening 10 shops in London,,, yup Dulwich is named 10/5 I seem to recall with others in London opening at 7 am…!, Guess that is to capture workers coming off all night shift. Offering free mince pies until they run out.. So very sad to hear about Romeo Jones… been a customer since the opening, any idea where Patrick has gone or details… please pm me.    What is going to be in its place…. Will be around in Jan…umm village is changing….
    • interesting the police said "the car was in demand at the moment" what make/model is that?
    • Just be careful to know exactly what they cover and the limits. i use Many Pets and Medivet, as I think one of the vets is exceptionally good. Some of the NHV are, but I’ve had a couple I’ve not liked at all.  I need consistency and to feel that they actually care more about the animals than the money.
    • I haven't used them myself but I noticed recently that "Snoots" in Forest Hill is going unlimited primary care for £33/month, so basically a subscription. Easy access on the 176 from East Dulwich. I have no idea what it includes so read the contract! It's a chain but only 5 branches so not a mega corporate. 🤷‍♂️ https://www.snootsvet.com/find-us
