Those who voted picked from the list of all entries the one they liked best. Some entries got no votes.

The name with the most votes won.

The only people eligible to vote were those who are on the kickabout player list - because it's their team.

I think what DJKQ is trying to say is that some of the entered names received no votes (i.e. no-one voted for them) - therefore those names got zero points. Is that what you mean DJKQ? Apologies in advance if I've got it wrong.

Yep that's what I mean.

Look at post no.2 Narnia - it clearly says that the winner would be decided by the squad from all the suggestions put forward by everyone on this thread. So no mystery, just straightforward vote for the name you like best.

The Dulwich Dynamites is going to take a bit of living up to, with Milfwall there'd have been less pressure.

Still you know best.

Good luck and make sure you contact E.I. Addio so we can have a full report of the first fixture.

Thing is many woman don't see the funny side of Milfwall lol.

There are a couple of local 7 a side ladies teams (league) and for fun at the end of the summer I might just organise a friendly and make it an EDF event.

And already there are a couple of ladies that have come along, never having played before that are naturals, there are a couple of others that will be very good and have natural football brains. I have every confidence that in time we'll be able to put on a good show!

This is the funniest thing I have read in ages.

Milfwall would have been a brilliant name you bunch of girly cowardy so-called footballers you!

Second only to the Peckham Roses of course.

Well done DJKQ for all the organising though and I hope you are all going to be a great team.

    • There are "plans" to build more reservoirs, with physical work yet to be started, with the first hoped to be completed by 2036, and a second by 2040, then time is needed for them to fill so add at least another 12 months on. However, if the 1.5 million homes are built by 2028, each averaging 2 people occupying them.(some will be more, some will be less) then thats 3 million people showering, bathing and using water.  Therefore there is a massive demand that will strain our current inferstructure between 2028 and 2037 (nearly ten years) plus all those homes will need electricity, as the ambition is to phase gas usage out, which will take just as much time to reinforce the network to cover, let alone add in the ability to cope with green production electricity that needs to be moved from wind and solar farms to where it is most needed.  Therefore, is the current plan to build more homes, regardless of where they are,  potentially going to have serious ramifications on already creaking networks ?

    • Cheers for that. Surprising to see it's over 25 years since it closed.
