Incident on Lordship Lane Estate

The back of the estate is taped off and there is a huge police presence.

Police presence likely to be in place for a while still, hopefully not too long. Not causing any delays to traffic on Dulwich Common as this incident is on the estate itself. Not as many police now, its calmed down quite a bit.

i just heard somebody may have had an epileptic fit & collapsed.... blood everywhere i heard.... not sure how much of this is facts though!

I saw police in white jumpsuits and police tape though ?

It was definitely somethinbg more than an epileptic fit! The whole area was taped off as I was collecting babies from the creche. There were more police cars coming down Lordship Lane into the estate as I was leaving.

from what i heard they thought it may have been suspicious...

Sadly a man was found dead this morning the police are treating it as suspicious.

It was a Southwark Council binman who found the man's body this morning on McLeod Court. The block was still taped off until around 7pm.

We were informed by door to door on the block yesterday that a body had been found by bin men at around 9.30 yesterday morning and asked to remain inside for the day. I live on the block myself and it wasn't a nice day at all, for the community on the estate. Police worked extremely well, boosted my confidence in them quite a bit. Rumors are circulating fast as to what happened, but I do not wish to speculate on rumors.

RIP all the same, he seemed like a nice guy. Thoughts go out to his family and friends.

having just had to sign in to get past the police on overhill road, i was informed that someone had been stabbed.

He was a very friendly, good hearted and sensitive guy. He would get distraught if a cat ever got run over. Rest in Peace G.

we have 2 incidents going on one thread here , the overhill road stabbing I started a new thread for on thursday when it happened where as this tragic incident happened on monday ! once again my condolences go out to all who knew him.
