Hmmmm, I'm afraid that Quids bloke has already tried that one! Not only are you a bad, bad boy Mr. Pallywotsitooos, manifestly possessing not a shred of morals, but you are also becoming slow in your old age.

There and again, did you ever move to our secluded little village? Given the location of the glasses when found, I would be prepared to reconsider your case if you have.

I am inclined to agree Narnia. However, innocent until proven guilty and all that...

Ha ha...I know what you mean...I bought my last pair from the 99p shop!

Hey Weegee,

How are you and the family doing?...sorry I keep bumping into you and then running off again...I'm not avoiding you - honest...it's just that I'm always late to wherever I'm going...

BTW, your car sounds like an aeroplane LOL!!!! Needs looking at I think!

And, you don't happen to know of anyone locally who has lost a pair of sunglasses?

Actually Narnia, according to Irene Mavrommati of the Computer Technology Institute in Greece, objects may in the future become enhanced with new digital properties and information-communication capabilities, thus turning them into Hyper-Objects.

Bet you didn't know that!

    • A new roadmap (surely railmap?!) for rail accessibility has been published: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/accessible-railways-roadmap It says "approximately 56% of stations and around 66% of the 1.3 billion journeys that take place on the network have step-free access to platforms...  "£373 million has been committed over the next 5 years to deliver Access for All projects, providing step-free access from station entrances to and between platforms, alongside other essential accessibility upgrades. These works, together, will increase the number of step-free stations across Great Britain from 56% to 58%. "This improvement will make travel easier with step-free access available at stations covering an increased share of total rail journeys – from 66% up to 71%" Don't know what that means for us here: upgrading Peckham Rye would cover a lot of rail journeys but the cost has no doubt increased from the £40m figure previously quoted. So that would eat into a lot of the funding.
