Glad to see you boys agreeing at last - if only on an Arsenal win!

That's because Spadetownboy is a Newcastle United supporter.

I shall me visiting the Emirates Stadium for the first time next week. Just got my tickets confirmed for the Arsenal v Spurs Carling Cup semi-final first leg. Hopefully we may have learnt to defend by then but I rather doubt it.

I have my tickets also, in the lower tier with my eldest son for ?35. I'm well pleased.

Sorry, Spadetownboy. I could have sworn you were a Newcastle fan in a previous post. But I've got to hand it to you you're the first person on this thread that has owned up to supporting Man Utd. Well done.

Mine were ?32 in the away bit, obviously. I think that's very reasonable considering how much tickets normally cost for Premiership games these days.

To fellow spurs fans here: Do you think Berbatov will go? If they do sell him i will be in two minds about whether to go and watch them anymore as that clearly indicates that the board have no ambition whatsoever in regards to challenging for the Champions league spots. All it says to me is that Spurs are a nursery club for the big two. What say you guys?

At last a fellow Spurs supporter. Well done Rifleman harris. I salute you.

As for Berbatov though. He's on contract and as long as we are still in the Cups he should stay and help us win them. I agree with what you're saying about being a nursery club for the Big Two though - that was made crystal clear when we sold Michael Carrick to Man Utd a couple of seasons ago but then he hasn't exactly set the place alight up there has he?

    • Yes..that may be the case but membership STARTING at £115 a month is still unafforable for many. Council gyms also have a large range of equipment and I had a  PT at Dulwich leisure centre when I was in Full Time employment who was incredible and even kept in contact during lockdown giving me a program I could do at home and checking in weekly at no charge or personal gain for herself. I dont doubt that Fit For may be a good gym (Its been in situ long enough so must be doing something right) However the cost of membership means it is affordable for the few not the many. If I could afford that kind of fee I would rather get a train to Canary Wharf and go to Virgin active where theres a pool and incredible classes and facilities
    • This sounds great 👍
    • We found a red TREK bike yesterday that had clearly been stolen and dumped. Would love to reunite it with its owner. Get in touch if you know whose it is.
    • Hey, I am interested. I had started a club last year however everyone slowly dropped off but I am always up for morning runs and some evening runs too.
