Quids, I've a couple of tattoos that don't necessarily relate to the rules you apply.

Which are of course all situations where men are closely grouped together.

I think we both know, from our style of posting how utterly ferociously heterosexual we are.

At least in intent.

And I ask this in the spirit of, let's say camaradarie, but if you did fancy getting an MC Escher 'eating its own tail' style lizard tattoo, from the first Mott the Hoople record on your forearm, and say for argument's sake I might want to do the same, then maybe we could attend the same parlour at round about the same time.

What could be more straightforward? Honestly, there's some as will be thinking all sorts.

But not us obviously.

Why are the tattoo shops called parlours, by the way?

I reckon it might be if they started calling them 'pain shops' it might interfere with trade.

Some may see it as naff but I have the most beautifully designed big tarantula tattoo'd on my back.

Life size, proper colourful and with shadows.

Grown men have fainted when they see it. Well, whatever it takes....

Then I have a Happy Human logo on my upper arm!

But I do get your points and there are some very cheap and nasty tats around.

    • I was amazed to see a young nuthatch crawling headfirst down a the trunk of a tree in my garden to bully the great tits and blue tits off the bird feeders yesterday.  Didn't expect to see one this far from the woods.
    • some titles are "protected" ie you have to have certain qualifications and be registered with the supervising council https://www.hcpc-uk.org/about-us/who-we-regulate/the-professions/ Dietician is registered and protected Nutricionist is neither. Anyone can claim to be a nutricionist or chiropracter etc
    • It didn't occur to me to ask. No idea if dieticians are employed within the NHS. It is just one line of enquiry among others. The GP mentioned it, not me.
    • I thought the most they sell in terms of hot food at londis is like pastries and sausage rolls and for hot drinks its like costa coffee but its always a convenience store. Doesn’t look too bad in my opinion considering that shop has been closed down ever since i moved here
