Can't commend them enough... I was mugged this evening on the way home, the police were with me within 10 minutes, within another 10 minutes I was patrolling the streets in an unmarked car trying to spot the guy. Unfortunately we didn't spot him, but was heartened, that in the hour or so I was in the car 2 seperate parties had come forward as witnesses.

I'm ok - just a bit shook up - happened just after 10:30pm in Peckham, near Lyndhurst Way.

Hope you are ok chinny, that's horrible. Sounds like you weren't hurt which is a relief, but take it easy for the weekend, you might be a bit shocked.

Very sorry to hear that. There was a mugging near Lyndhurst Way a week or so ago at 10:40pm (three young black men). Could be the area is being targeted. I hope the police are making the links.

I am curious as to why you said SE London Police and not Peckham Police as that is the area you were in? Do you come from outside the area?

I dissagree. I sold an item on gumtree and was robbed via a fake paypal and the police said that it wasnt fraud which is a load of rubbish !

You may not be physically hurt, but my guess is that you might well be hurting emotionally.

Recover quickly, and in the meantime let's hope these people get caught.
