Hello,

I wonder if someone can help me with a very annoying issue I'm currently having.

Every morning I see slimy slug trails in my living room carpet. The living room otherwise has wooden floors(and carpet in the Center) so I'm not able to trace where they come from.

Tried putting out some beer, got one but then they got clever and wind take the bait.

Any suggestions at all? Is this an issue with Victirian conversions?

Many thanks,

Sue

I had this problem with slugs years ago in the front downstairs room where there was a bay window, also a Victorian house. We were renting. 3 months after we moved out the whole front bay window fell out. There were no cracks, no sign that anything was amiss until it fell out.

NOT a good idea Lou.

Slugs and snails are regularly infested by the parasitical lungworm. If a cat eats an infected slug, they too can become hosts. Lungworms cause difficulty with breathing through damaging the airways and interfering with mucus accumulation in the lung tissue, with possibly fatal consequences
