Gincy signifies the highest approval of a person or thing.

I'm cut to the quick, Moos.

I've heard different accounts that the word refers to an old sixpence or possibly the half-crown.

My sorces were the unimpeachable old blokes in the pub.

In which case I apologise unreservedly, and withdraw my objection. Please accept this tosheroon in recompense for any hurt or outrage caused. Especially since you have old sorcerers as your sauce.

    • Threads that devolve like this should be moved to the Lounge, so the 'comedy' can continue in an appropriate vacuum.
    • How very dare you. Rest assured, if it were intended to be comedy, it would have been funny.
    • I hadn't looked at the actual posts on Instagram. That's sad, then. The shop opening hours are still shown at the top of the page. I  guess changing them wasn't uppermost in her mind under the circumstances.
    • I want to recommend the kitchen fitters Top Marx kitchens. They were excellent from the communication, the planning and the fitting. John did a fantastic job of of fitting and worked around and solved many of the issues we had with Ikea who we purchased from. John gave lots of helpful advice and support. We would definitely use them again for any kitchen work. I have added before and after photos.
