Well, just to prove a few people wrong, I'm a big fan of whisky macs, dubonnet & gin (by all accounts the Queen Mum's favourite tipple) and a good sherry.

For David - Cut a large lemon twist, drop into glass, add ice and stir. You're right though. ruins a good Port.
