Can't recall where I picked it up, been using it a long time - childhood reading of P.G.Wodehouse, possibly. You have to remember that former English teacher > current professional writer = florid gobshite.

And own at least one cookery book by Delia or Mary, plus possess minimum one hand-knitted item of clothing, bonus point if you made it yourself.

    • Anyone with a negative opinion of Starmer is well within their rights, and often correct  But if you are going to demand some replacement his over a year into a landslide you need a reality check  And if you went to suggest someone like Farage as a replacement (as polls indicate) then you have lost all connection with reality, credibility and possibly toilet functions 
    • Those in largish houses with just one or two occupants who have done very well (on paper) due to the massive rise in property values since the 90s.  As opposed to those struggling to pay for housing whether owning or renting (and many of the latter may never own).  Hmm.  Perhaps a centre left government can rebalance the situation.
